what was it??
the sudden glow on our faces?
the flash of the cosmos
as our auras touched again,
mixing in a tornado of photons
as we embrace.
our rabid hearts meld once more
we become one again –
you squeeze me so hard my ribs hurt
the tears flow as our eyes level
i brush back your fizzed hair.
i see the painful sin you have carried for too long,
you see the ravaged beige wasteland of my soul.
so far we have come and so much farther we must go,
but that is for another time to deal with.
for now let us just embrace –
two ribbons of blue flame flickering in the cold.
you my angel, and I your wind
let us just be –
