I've really grown to like the FNP more than I did on the past they can besl seen quicker in theory their cheaper thought to those that have insurance I think they just bill the company for a full visit. And take the load of the doctor. But I think they should only be restricted to prescribing the basic and common meds like for blood pressure diabetes or heart. I do not think they should be able to prescribe any psych medicines. They just don't have the training and knowledge of a doctor. In my experience at least they don't even consider drug interactions when giving multiple Rx. This happens all the time to me and a few doctors. Usually I go to the doctor just to get prescribed tramadol but I also use celexa as a red herring so it doesn't look like ik there for just the pain pills. Every time I do this I really cant believe they don't even warn of serotonin syndrome between celexa and tramadol as tramadol should never be taken with an antidepressant. And I only had one doctor warm me about this.
