Hidden inside these chunks of earth
await things only visible to the brave.
Seize the cold extentions of hands
and release to the world your vision.

Three chords bend in a whirlwind, sounds that David knew--
and lost gods dance with drink.
I am wrapped in the wings of The Proccess
while slivers of stone are freed and fall
as snowflakes in summer.

’Tis a brave one indeed--who stands open
beneath the great Black Heron who covers all light above
his feathers unfurled, teasing fish into night--
and releases the hidden captive unto the world.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
quote or your own work?
ive seen it around here b4... no doubt as your sig. i may have even previously commented... i love it. it means a lot to me, and i will keep it with me forever, yours or a quote... well done/thanx.

thats not a quote by myself... I forget who said it.. lemme go and find out again, they should doubtless get s credit for writing it :)

as for the poem, this is my work. glad it touched someone.

it reminds me of how we as writers take a pen and black out whole pages and all that is left is the poetry.
