Stimulants Schizophrenia? Hallucinations, heart palps, anxiety all from switching to a generic.

Long time reader, first time poster. So bear with me.

I was switched from (Barr?) 20mg Adderall 3x daily. To some unknown knockoff. Its white, the shape of a stop sign. Ever since taking it, Ive started having hallucinations. Like, near constant hallucinations, weird lights, sounds, textures and noises. etc. Ive never had this before, never had it on my old meds at the same potency. Ive run the gammut of the psychological testing and adhd was definitely the right one. The other generic worked perfectly well. My entire life changed. But now, I cant get out of bed, my eyes are so dry and swollen, the hallucinations have kept me up for days, even with ambien to put me down. Can anyone help me figure this out?


In short, the generic of my generic adderall is causing schizophrenic type behaviour. Has anyone else experienced this? Ive only been on adderall for ADHD for 6 months, but until 3 days ago when I filled the new script, its been very beneficial. Now, I feel like I am legitimately going insane. Any and all advice welcomed.

Let me add, for the data nerds, that I took an entire week off of my stimulant medication in an effort to gain more control over the dosing.

I take supplements every day of 5htp, zinc, melatonin, magnesium citrate, coq10, fish oils, curcumin, and gaba.
 
Stop taking drugs...you take 5htp which fucks with your serotonin, melatonin and gaba, and then on top your taking 60mg of Adderall a day, which is really more than anybody needs, IDGAF what goddamn quacks up at the psychologists offices say.

Switching from Name brand to generic won't cause Schizophrenia, I assure you.

Abusing stimulants, well it very well might, but I can't say for certain..The fact that you say hallucinacations have kept you up for days leads me to think you should take a good nap...so no more Adderall for the next 24 hours.

As much as he shouldn't be taking the 5htp, the generics differ one to the other (trying to stay within bluelights rules)... it is very possible (experience).
