Scavengers

^^Not for weed, but for coke yes. Me and this friend of mine used to be cool, then he started doin coke daily. Once he sold his phone I just forgot about him til he rang the bell like that, I ended up kickin him down the stairs cuz he kept trying to get in my house. The funny thing is, I was outta weed that day

I smoked for about two years before i ever bought my own weed. How is that possible you ask? Because i was always invited. ALWAYS! I never asked anyone if they wanted to smoke, i let them ask me, and i made sure of that. If we did smoke, and my buddy asked "you wanna smoke another bowl?" i'd always say "if you want to".

i feel like my weed karma is pretty good. now that i'm buying my own weed we get so much higher, just because between the two of us we smoke a bowl of his, a bowl of mine, and then a half and half bowl, as opposed to the 2 of his.
 
^Thats why I'm saving up all my change, its back to the ghetto way of buying weed for me. I've got about $12 and 700 soda cans I'm about to take to the recycling center. Once I get $25 I'll be able to buy 2.5gs of dank

smoking with friends > smoking alone.. so sometimes i'll smoke out a friend just to make things more interesting.

small price to pay for some entertainment, particulary if they are a lightweight.
 
i've smoked for free with friends on a few occasions, before i was a daily smoker... but if it was something that started happening regularly, i would give them a bit of cash to make up for it/help them get more... i'm pretty generous with my stuff, but other than my bf, i've never had anyone who was SUPER into weed, so they never took advantage of it or anything.
 
I have a friend that could be described as a scavenger since he's never bought herb but he doesn't really smoke at all and the few times he has it's been at parties or off of someone's bong/bowl/joint that they're smoking.

Anyway I smoked him out his first time and one other time and I didn't expect repayment since he's bought me tons of beers over the years.

When I was in college there was one guy that smoked daily and the scavengers would gather around and I know there were people who just mooched off of him daily and he didn't seem to care about them, since if he was smoking he'd always share with someone, anyone who wanted some, and that was all his choice. I only smoked a few times with him since classes and herb don't mix that well for me.

i was gonna do a post about if yall smoke ppl out like i do all the time-but this is basicaly the same thing. i dont mind smoking friends out everyday aslong as they return the favor but that dosnt qullify them as leaches.

its usually the nubs that leach the most, like they dont make the conniction that it costs money and just expect u to smoke em out all the time. i had a friend that i would smoke with everyday for a year; never charged him , then i ran out of money and asked if he wanted to pitch in this time, and he looked at me like i had just asked if i could fuck his gf and guss wut i still smoked him out but im like a hippy though u no do unto others as u would like to be treated.... big belever in carma too

i dont get that shit anymore cuase tipically i can figure out wut kind of person they are before i chill with em too much usally dont hang out with assholes

one of my friends in particular never piches in or smokes unless hes around me but he will give me a car ride insted plus he dont smoke regulary so wen i smoke him out its funny as hell to see him trip ballz off two hits lol

one of my former leaches i alwas smoked with hit it big resently and thanked me for allwase smoking him out with a shit tone of beer ....witch i dont drink but the gester was appiciated...=D
 
I scavenge in a different way. My friend has "Drawer weed" thats has tons of seeds and stems. he'll give me a whole bunch for a couple bucks. I get a couple bowls out of it in my waterfall bong.

Blaggers, as they are also called.
I don't deal with them well, but I guess I can thank them for being a contributory cause for my reduction in weed.
No way was I paying for blaggers weed.
I buy less, so less gets blagged.

I sometimes ask if I can have a toke of a spliff, it's handy having mates who you can do a bit of give and take with. As you have given to them, they dont mind giving to you.
As for the hardcore blaggers, I think deep down, that everyone resents them, and tries to avoid them, and they must know this, on some level.

i usually only now smoke with 3 of my closest friends. if anyone else tries to smoke with me i just say no. i hate going out of my way to go somewhere to smoke someone out. screw that.


unless it my best friend who i would smoke all my weed with if he wanted to, i dont care.
 
spare a thought for me...

i have a serial scavenger that:

* is/was my best friend
* won't have a smoke with me (maybe its the vaporizer - too nerdy)
* only wants take away
* doesn't expect to pay for it
* only calls me up when he has run out... (sometimes three times a week).
* pretends that he is calling me for something else

i'm at my wits end... i'm too much of a nice guy to say FUCK OFF, but no amount of dropped hints seems to have any effect.
