Hi, i'm a 19 year old male, i've done meth a total of 11 times, and the last time was 3 months ago, i would do them like one month apart anyways i never became addicted to it because i saw what it did to my friends, but i would love to ask questions about meth because i did find it quiet interesting hearing about hallucinations paranoia addicts in denial and their mean ass behavior. But i had this dream just an hour ago, around noon that i was kidnapped and a group of people injected meth in me, and in the dream it never showed me ever do meth, but the dream shows me signs of what it must feel like to be addicted to meth, these are some of the symptoms i felt in the dream they felt so real can you relate? Also i believe the meaning behind this dream is meaning either 3 things.

A)- It's a pointless dream that has no meaning.
B)- It's showing what could of happened if you became addicted to meth and how it would affect your life.
C)- It's showing what will happen (i don't really think so i only did the stuff 11 times in my life, over the course of 18 months and never even stayed up past one day on it and never did it more than one or sometimes after 3 times and don't want to since i have a friend at work, and she's so pretty she doesn't pick her skin she's so brave etc but she's crazy but she keeps it together, i feel so bad for her, her parents are addicted to it too, her whole family and pregnant girlfriend who she lives with!

1)- extreme anger or annoyance walking past a group of people, in the end i punched one of my managers in the face and he kicked me out of the store, i dont really remember feeling like the normal loving feeling on meth
2)- thinking everyone hates me or thinks i'm so weird (to an extent in the dream they did)
3)- Feeling more anti-social than social and always look mad or sad
4)- Would cry alot! and wonder if i'd ever feel normal again and constant thinking that i was permanently insane
5)- People's faces would look like their moving and their voices! it sounded like everything would echo like my hearing was super intensified
6)- Would be super shaky and alot of muscle spasms, and horrible horrible shooting pain in the head
7)- THIS WAS ONE WAS A HUGEE PART OF THE DREAM AND A SIDE EFFECT I FELT AS IF I COULDN'T TELL ANYONE AT WORK EVEN CUSTOMERS THAT WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT IN THE DREAM AND HOW IT PERMANENTLY MADE ME CRAZY, IT FELT LIKE I COULDN'T COMMUNICATE OR TALK OR GET MY WORDS OUT maybe like an addict struggles with admitting their an addict?

sounds exactly like the way it felt to be addicted to speed after a long while when the honeymoon is over.

watch out for those premonition dreams and take the hint. avoid this drug as it sounds like you are surrounded by it

what you described is exactly what i felt like at my lowest ebb on speed. even if it is just your mind playing out a fantasy it sounds a little to close to the bone for my liking.

by the way this is not ADD material

Not ADD material, not even sure where it belongs. Maybe TDS?

I've been reading this book recently which explains what dreams really are. They are one of many future possibilities that you create when you live life, and they are lived by a part of you in a simultaneous future. They are information transmissions that part of you feels is most relevant/helpful at the time, to help you make future decisions. These transmissions can also occur during the day as 'intuition' and 'vital instinct' to help you avoid danger and make the best decisions.

Heed that dream, it is a future possibility you have created!

This all works on the premise that that you create many futures that exist simultaneously to the present, the dreams help you to choose which future to actualize into your physical experience.

Einstein himself once said: "The distinction between past, present and future is only an illusion, however persistent".

If you are interested in the book it is called "Change your Future through Time Openings" by a PhD physicist.

I used to get dreams with feelings 2-7 and I've never touched meth.

Recurring ones too...I had one where I dreamt I was in class, waiting for the professor to finish and I felt so paranoid of everyone around me. When I got up to leave, everyone's faces took on strange shapes and my vision blurred, I started stumbling and couldn't speak - like my throat was paralyzed.

Perhaps the meth dream and the dream where you're at work are separate and unrelated? It's estimated that we jump between 3-5 different dreams every night.

To be honest, when I saw this thread title, I didn't expect your dream to capture the reality of meth addiction at all. But your points seem spot on to me. These ones were characteristic of my meth days -

I guess you need to decide what you'd like to take from this experience. I'm not a big proponent of dream interpretation, hidden meanings, symbols and all that, but they can still be useful. In this case, perhaps being able to actually experience some of the realities of meth addiction on a personal level, will help you make an informed choice about where (or where not) you want your life to head. I think you're lucky to have experienced that, as it's so much more salient than just reading about the dangers of something.

Are dreams not so accurate and specific that they couldn't be used as a tool in order to aid one's life??
I think not...
I mean, I actually know what a bird goes through. Lucid flying is a common thing in my dreams. Really lifts me cuz I've never really felt particularly free at any point.
But the fact that it was so accurate and real proved that your mind can produce alternate realities on the behalf of your aching subconscious.
You definitely got what you payed for on this one.
Spot on...
