Hello.

I come to the forum once more, looking for some quick advice. I am going downhill quickly. My physical issues have begun to overwhelm my mental resolve. I am now having panic attacks for no reason (or some innocuous reason).

Focusing on what I have in my possession now, please help me prioritize what to take to relax me quickly:

Lorazepam 1 mg ( 2 pills left )
Diazepam 10 mg ( 1 pill left )
s901 alprazolam 0.5 mg ( 6 pills left )

I am not one to snort, shoot, or plug. Hence, this is going down with water.

Please advise.

Thanks

Take the xanax for relatively quick relaxation. In general, don't snort or shoot benzos. Theres another way to take xanax, keep the pill under your tongue and let it dissolve. This allows it to come in your system quicker and it should last just as long if you took it with water.

Strengthwise, 10 mg Diazepam = 1 mg Lorazepam = 0.5mg Alprazolam

They all kick in rather quickly; however, Xanax lasts the shortest (possibly leading to rebound anxiety), Ativan a bit longer.
Valium is a bit more complicated: Diazepam itself has a half-life of a few hours, but gets converted into a weaker but VERY long-lasting metabolite (we're talking a half-life of several days), largely preventing rebound anxiety.
