Opioids Saving a shot for later?

Hello everyone!

Ok so I was preparing a shot of oxymorphone for injection... got it all done and drew it up into the syringe... but then I realize that I was already really high (I did a shot like 15 min prior and plus I'm wearing a fentanyl patch), so I decided not to boot up after all. So obviously, my question is: Is it okay to just leave the rig just like this and do the shot later, and maybe even save it for tomorrow? Is it a good idea to refrigerate it or something?

It won't keep very long, it would be hard to estimate how long it will last.

Using bacteriostatic water along with micron filtering enables you to be able to save a pre-made shot for a considerably longer time.

do you guys think he could save it and then when he decides to blast later on just push it back into the spoon and reheat it before he uses? im not sure as ive never done it, but this would be good information to know...

I doubt it...the temperatures necessary to destroy the majority of bacteria should also destroy most opioids.

i give you credit on being able to save the shot for a later time. i am unable to do that. if i was in your position, i would worry about it clogging the needle up.

HORRIBLE idea. You never want to heat pills. Opioids are readily water soluble, many inactive aren't so heating is completely unnecessary to dissolve the opioids and WILL dissolve many dangerous otherwise insoluble cuts that you risk lodging in various internal organs and accumulating.

Refrigerating will slow bacterial growth, re-filtering with a micron filter would make it safer or you can use safer ROA's such as intranasal or rectal.
