Quick question:

No secret food vending... you've already said that. :P But what about cooking in our "campsites"? I mean, I doubt that many will actually want to go to that problem, but hey... my metabolism is fucked UP like that.

Also, I've never been to this campground before (this is actually my first camping rave! ^^), are we going to be able to, say... park the car, and then pitch our tent next to it? I'm a little confused about the whole situation, to say the least.

im gonna be in vegas that week...its just a matter of when im coming back. gonna catch a phish show one of those nights. just not sure if im staying the whole weekend or gonna come back early to see mickey!!decisions...decisions...
 
As many of you already know, there are some tremendous roadblocks and complications in the plans for NICE DREAMS. Serious problems started just less than a week ago. For the last 5 days myself and many others have put a lot of thought and effort into determining if it was still possible to make this event. After reviewing the event notebook and seeing how much was still left to be done for the party we determined that it was not in our best interest to put investors at such a high risk by continuing with the event. Due to the unfortunate circumstances we have been faced with, NICE DREAMS is CANCELLED. Anyone involved with the event (artists, staff, vendors, sound, lights, etc.) can contact me at [email protected] if you would like more information. I will be contacting most of you directly as I am able to.

We are aware that due to the fact that the venue is listed on the flyer and many people do not get online that some people may still be driving from out of town or out of state to attend NICE DREAMS. We are also aware that there was a lot of excitement and anticipation for this event.

As a result of this, several of us are collaborating to organize a "back-up" event less than 5 miles from Camp America where NICE DREAMS was supposed to be located.

Everything is not 100% settled for the back-up event, but it should be by the end of today.

So far we know the following:

1) camping will be permitted.
2) $5 at the door.
3) 1 indoor stage, 1 outdoor - locals and regionals.
4) some of the profits will be used to reimburse Nice Dreams investors.

^great, already worked out the day off, camping gear, and the whole works. looks like i wont be in ohio this weekend.
