Opioids Sandoz Fentanyl Transdermal System Question...

ok so i got ahold of some 75mcg/hr patches today. they dont seem to have any 'gel' in them the others i have experience with were a little packet of goo these are flat opaque patches. i was wondering what the best way to do this was for all of you who are more experienced with it. i took 4mg of suboxone at about 3pm today and 4mg yesterday with nothing but roxys and h a for the days before. the sub isnt all up in my system so to speak so im not so worried about that. i have heard it takes like 8 hours to have a patch kick in transdermally so im thinking thats the best way to go about it but when exactly should i put it on with relation to the subs so i dont waste any of it? its 858pm here what do you all suggest?

and an edit im sorry they are SANDOZ patches

I had the 100mcg Sandoz patches at one time and they were a gel patch. They were flat and almost looked like nothing was in them, it's really looked like a few drops of water were inside and flattened. I had them a bit over a year ago, maybe they changed since. The picture below shows what my patch came inside.

Subs are probably the one opiate pharm that I have no experience with, so someone else will have to help about the timing.

thats what it looks like but really like paper thin there isnt anything inside it looks. but anyway what is the best way to do this?
 
Sandoz does have the gel reservoir. It is Mylan that does not...
 
Get the gel out as you would with the other patches... Take something like a toothpick and dip in the gel and rub a small amount along the inside of your cheek. Keep doing this until you get to the desired level of effects. Be careful and start small!

PS- The sub may be enough to block the effects, or at least somoe of them. Don't try to "jump" over the sub if this is the case, as respiratory depression can set in easily even though you're not feeling too strong of effects. Also, the sub might potentate the fentanyl, which would mean you'd need less that you usually would.

Personally, I'd save the patches for tomorrow and then use them like I described above...
 
ok well i put it on my chest a min ago. feel the 3 day high is better than the minimal effects of the mouth way. plus it reallydoesnt seem like it has liquid in it not enough to dose out. i shaved my chest and put it over my heart. im getting red already hopefully it wont fuck up my tattoo!
 
Its too late but I would place the patch on the outside of my arm or on the outside deltoid(shoulder), that patch can be a pain to keep stuck on the skin, the chest can be a difficult spot because that area moves and stretches out. Also some people might tell you placing it over the heart as not a good idea but Im not sure whether that matters or not.

When I had those patches I cut them open and rubbed the gel on my gums, inside of my cheeks, and under the tongue. Im not a fan of fentanyl, the high had no euphoria for me.
 
i've never worn a patch, but was stuck on these patches for about a year (i tucked them on the inside of my cheek) and i loved them. be very careful, though. i've overdosed on both types, as fentanyl is a very tricky drug. people have been known to put them on the skin, go to bed and not wake up. also, you can easily swallow too much of the gel and get dangerously high...and it's no fun. like bollweevil said, please start small. fentanyl was a great high for me, but the risk is VERY great.

Just cut a piece off and place the sticky side flat against the inside of your cheek. I always cut it into 1/4, 1/8 or even 1/16 so i can divide the patches mg and know about how much I am putting in my body. For example, if u have a 100 mg patch and u take 1/4 of it, you have consumed about 25mg of fentanyl.!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!! Start with a small piece and see how u feel. You can always cut another piece and increase your high. Keep it flat as long as u can and eventually you can just start chewing on it. Try not to swallow your spit too much in order to give the drug time to enter your blood stream through the lipids in your cheeks. Takes about an hour to fully kick in. You can also put it in a nasal spry bottle with a little warm water, refilling the bottle several times b4 disposing of the patch. The Pump mist bottle from wal-mart works best. Wait 24hrs b4 taking patch if u took suboxone and 48hrs if u take suboxone regularly. I dont think it really blocks fentanyl that much myself. enjoy

Read closely, I said that the Sandoz patches are gel reservoirs... Mylan is the generic brand that has the less abusable gel-less patches.
 
I would just like to know how lomg it takes for the sandoz brand to start to work???
 
I always found patience to really be worth it when it came to fent patches.

I used to get loads of the 100 mcg/h patches and would wear them. Sure it takes quite a while to kick in but once it gets going it's heaven on earth for quite a long time. Even after you've worn them for a while you can always take them off and clean out the inside for a little bonus.

I had quite a large tolerance when I started on these and at first would have to remove the patches after a while because I'd nod out a little "too" much.

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of fent that builds up in your system over time and having a constant intake like that potentiate the whole effect? Who knows. It could just be something that worked for me alone, as lots say they don't get any euphoria off of them and I was walking on sunshine for weeks on end when I had these.

Are these like the duragesic? B/c the most dangerous but best way to do them is flatten the gel out on a mirror and let it dry. Then break off a TINY piece and free base smoke it. So intense and awesome the sad thing is actually like the taste lol

BE VERY CAREFUL EASY TO OD SMOKING FENTYNAL!!!!

Private parts, it's obvious that you have the sandoz patches, and they have changed from gel to matrix, i'm sure about it. So you can use it transdermall (as they made for), or you can use it bucally, you say you have the 75's if i'm not wrong, so, depends by your tolerance, you can use them bucally, by cutting a 75 in 3 or 4 strips, and stick them on your upper lip (a strip, not all), or stick a strip inside your mouth (a strip stuck between your cheek and your gums, the sticky side on your inside part of your cheek). Using them bucally, as i described above, you'll feel the fent in about 10-15 min.(let's say 20 the most),and depence by your tolerance you may want to stick more strips, but you should be very careful, the fuckin fent it's very easy to OD, because it doesn't give you signs that you will OD, you might say that "oh, it didn't make me high, maybe i must get some more" , and this "some more" maybe makes you OD. Maybe it's better to use it as prescribed, just stick it on your chest, or on a place of your body that it doesn't move all the time. I don't know about your tolerance, if it is not so high, maybe you should stick just 2/3 or 1/3 of a 75 patch. You can cut it, it's a matrix style patch, you don't have to be afraid that the gel will fall out, your patch is matrix, i'm sure cause i know that sandoz changed from gel to matrix, so sorry Pegasus, i'm not trying to be the"smart-I know everything guy", as a matter of fact, i hate this kind of people, but maybe you didn't heard that the sandoz brand changed, and they make their patches now as the durogesic ones, the matrix style. I think that the 50's have 8,4mg of fent, the 75's 12,6 mg and the 100 16,8mg. Well, i'm telling again, that i don't try to be the fuckin "smart- I know everything" guy, i'm fuckin really hate this kind of people:X, believe me. But of course, you might have the old Sandoz patch with gel, if the 75 writes on the box that it has 7,5mg of fent, yeah, it's the gel type. If the 75 writes on the box that have 12,6mg of fent, then it's the matrix type. And Privateparts, don't do anything that i told you, i just said these things for information perpose, search as more info that you can, fent is a very serious thing, we must not do something that we read on the net by a random guy, find as more info that you can, and when you decide to use, remember START SLOW, and if it's not enough, you can always add more, BUT if you take a lot, you CAN'T get it out of your system, so, you're not a fool, i'm sure that you get it and you know what you have to do.
