Has anyone heard of an incident that took place by Lake Common, Sandown, Isle of Wight (UK) in or around 1973 in which two children came upon an 'Entity' (the only word I can use as when asked the 'Entity' said it was not an alien nor a ghost) which described itself as "All Colours, Sam"? I've been absolutely fascinated with this story for a few months now, heres the account:

A question: what kind of answers do you want?
Because this is The Lounge, and it's quite probable that someone will post something funny and off-topic.

Oh right, I just wanted to make a thread about these sort of incidents as opposed to talking about drug withdrawals all the time. Can you suggest anywhere else it might be more suited to?

I like the explanation about how different people describe the entities they see in different ways.

I think it's either all made up by the father who then told the girl his story. Or that family (and the boy) were exposed to some hallucinogenic and then each saw what they saw.

I never had that kind of experiences (my mind is pretty imaginative as it is) but it seems as if several people tripping together can end up "seeing" the same stuff.

If you're into this sort of stuff you might enjoy the docuseries Hellier (2 seasons).

It covers several topics, interdimensional occult stuff, cave goblin aliens, synchronicity, various paranormal stuff, etc.

I don't really believe in most of it, but it's a very entertaining series nonetheless. Well produced. Not your typical cheesy trashy paranormal show.
