On top of something - salvia

75mg 10x
This is the fifth of a series of recent smoked trips (the first for several months).
03:30
My trip sitter and I turned off the lights in the apartment and stopped all music. It took a while to quench every light source, save one candle. Without the candle, the living room is very dark. All sound sources were muffled, stopped or faded somehow. All I can hear are occasional faint traffic noises. I even hit the fridge a kick to stop it humming.

I tapped 75mg of 10x into a bowl of a water bong and took it all in.

There is an unfolding event, one of epic proportions. An emergency vehicle with a shining light drives up a winding road toward it's destination. I think I am near the seafront but nowhere I recognise. There is a lighthouse- but someways out from the sea. The vehicle has settled at the top. This happens with an air of foreshadowing and build-up to something peculiar and interesting. This seemed to take a long time - but looking back on it that was very welcome - like the suspence part of a movie.
I have been having recurring dreams for years now about large buildings with many complex stairways, rooms, corridors, secret passages, etc. with a lot of people exploring the areas, including me. They are always at least semi-lucid, and they always have an air of adventure to them.
I felt that I was watching events on top of such a structure, and I was frustrated that I couldn't perceive any details beneath. I felt that disappointed feeling you get when a brilliant dream is realised as just a dream, and I came out of the trance.

I have settled into the breezy euphoria salvia always offers me, and the usual emotionless mental stance evaporates.
Apparently I laughed and said something about "mirrors". I always laugh, and I never remember what I said anyway. I don't remember any mirrors.
---
This was an unusual trip for me because I haven't had such a direct link between my (semi)-lucid dreams and salvia trips before. I am left with the usual urge to return.

Returning to Salvia land is a must. I am still very curious as well.
Makes you wonder what your dreams really mean, considering the fact that all we know about dreams is purely speculation. There is no hard evidence, and I doubt there ever will be more than just theories of what dreams may really be. It could be a connection of events of repressed emotions. Or your dreams as well as your vision while on salvia could be a past life or lives being lived out in your sub-conscious. I don't know. All I know is that Salvia does confront you with your soul, whether you like it or not. It just puts it out there for you to evaluate, and that might be one reason it is shocking to some people
Nice report
Peace
