I recently purchased a Salvinorin A tincture from one Daniel Siebert called Sage Goddess Wisdom Potion or something to that extent. I followed all directions, holding an overpowering and very nearly nausiating liquid under my tongue for around fifteen minutes, and not too much happened. I'm not just some fool looking for a stupid legal high, I was actually pretty fascinated by the trip reports I've read about this chemical and definately thought it worth at least a try.
So, my question to you all is, am I wasting my time and money here, or have any of you tried this Salvinorin A tincture and found it to be the meditative, time-manipulating, fabric of reality bending potion that it has been claimed to be? I've learned that it may take a few tries for anything to really happen for a first-time user, but the ritual of using this is almost unbearable. I would just like to find out if I should continue on this little quest to find some kind of spiritual enlightenment without the harmful chemicals I've been binging on for a good part of my life, as I've also heard that it is quite safe for the body.

Drug usage will never result in spiritual enlightenment. They are a conterfeit to our own reality, hence the fact that such "spiritually enlightening drugs" are called false neurotransmitters. You wont find religion or enlightenment in drugs/entheogens, whatever you want to call them. You want to attain enlightenment for real? Gain understanding and wisdom? Go the path alone, without thinking you have to hold the hand of mr. lsd or mr. psilocybe, or the infamous ska maria.
peace!

Hrmmm I would tend to disagree, for what of the Shamans? I suspect they have/had great understanding of spirituality and they most certainly used ethogens. What of the peyote hunters?

This has gotten way off topic, but I will say that I have obtained spiritual experiences from drugs before. Did it make me enlightened? No, of course not. But you can gain wisdom and knowledge from drug experiences. However, my past three attempts have been utter failure.
The last one (yesterday) was my first (and maybe last) salvia experience. All I can say is that it was an excercise in sheer terror.
PS, there is a salvia FAQ on bluelight if your having problems giving it to work. Check it out for hints and tips

My friend told me he bought something like that and put it on weed. He said he liked the effect..

There are some tips for getting better results with sublingual absorption, in the FAQ forum.
It takes time to get salvia to work appreciatively (similar to cannabis for example).
