Salvia 10x!! Bullshat!!

Well, Lets start off w/ I"ve done alot research on this herb, And frankly I figured that I would get something out of it besides a shitty taste in my mouth and $40 dollars down the drain..

About a month ago I was down in daytona beach.FL for spring break and we've went from store to store looking for different things when I finally came acrossed it. 1 gram of 10x salvia packaged in a lil box. The damn indian dude wanted $50!! but after 10 minutes of indecisiveness I had him talked down to 40..

So we went back to the place we were staying packed the bowl up w/ about half a gram.. each took about 7 huge hits off it and held it in until gasping for air.. then waited.. and waited .. and then waited... in conclusion .. not a damn thing happened !..

Anyone have any info on this.. store boughten bunk? or what... lemme know.%)

You didn't do any research on this herb. Or you don't retain knowledge well if you really did. Many people do not experience effects the first few times they smoke this herb. This is probably the most common thing known about Salvia divinorum once people get beyond just hearing about it.

But it is a very sacred herb to many, and when smoked, can produce effects as powerful as DMT. And sometimes it doesn't do anything to some people. She is often picky about new visitors.

Sorry, Mainly research as in effects, legal status,reprts, and where to buy it..

But thanks, that's good to know I've tried it a few times after that and still havent had anything..

Maybe I'll give it another try in the near future.. Hopfully she wont be so Picky then ..

But still kinda curious if what I bought was just a haox..

Find a new source, lots of online reliable ones availible.

ALso use a butane torch and keep the torch over the pipe WHILE inhaling.

Salvia is a drug that requires respect for it to work. Have a few deep breathes before smoking, Pack one bong load of salvia extract. Inhale, put bong down out of hands.. .. Be on a couch. Keep the smoke in for about 30 seconds.. or however long you can hold.. then lie back and close your eyes. If the salvia is real, you should get a pretty nice trip.

Also, this is not some marijuana substitute, nor is it an acid clone. It is quite unique and some people don't even really like the experience. No one really finds it fun, it isn't a party drug. It's a drug for deep introspection, and ego loss.. Look up what ego loss means and see if you wish to experience it (search the Psychedelic Forum). It may not be for you.

It is also important in my opinion, to have a trip sitter. A sober friend to pack you the bong, take it off you and what not, or just make sure you don't freak.

Smoke the salvia in a dark room! With no heavy music. Quiet ambient or soft rock can work, at low volumes, but the salvia trip is best with LITTLE to NO sensory input.

Anywya, if you want to give it another shot, We would love to hear about your experience... So if it works, post about your experience If it doesn't, as MorningGlorySeed said, salvia can be a stubborn drug, more so than marijuana. You don't normally breakthrough the first time. It took me two tries, but it took a friend 4. Another friend has tried numerous times and just described all he gets, no matter what, is a bit spaced and "weird".
