Hey, well I'm absolutely horrible at writing so I guess i'll keep this short and sweet.

I'm Jake, I'm an eighteen year old polysubstance user from Cincinnati. I made an account on Bluelight mostly to socialize with other people who use drugs or have a fascination with how they function. I also periodically make absolutely horrible decisions and having other people who I can ask for harm reduction related help is a useful decision.

I'm primarily an IV user of any substance, although I prefer to smoke any heroin/fentanyl to avoid overdose, mostly because my drug of choice is methamphetamine. My second closest favorite would be black tar, followed by mushrooms.

I'm in an absolutely horrendous period of depression, so it would be nice to make some new friends, in and out of Ohio.

Peace - Jake

Hi, Jake.
Welcome to bluelight and hope ya find what is currently in sights.
Is this depression something that has been and is ongoing or a result of use/overuse of substance and having to land? Just curious if the addiction is rooted in "illness" or the illness is based on addiction... or a combination I spose is possible.
Seems I find more peers here than irl... maybe it has something to do with being free to be oneself whereas those around me physically have to put on airs and get the vapors. lol
Hit me back, bro... let me know what it is about meth that makes it your favorite?
Weed helps me stay aloof, hungry and thoughtful so it is my choice ultimately for best health.
Open to most anything but a time and place, eh?
Peace yerself and love to boot.

Welcome fellow stim lover. You’ll find lots of tweaky friends from all over the world here when you’re high. Although personally I’m a purist and wouldn’t touch an opiate except in a hospital, to each their own. Mushrooms on the other hand I fully get. If you need stimulation check out the Words sub forum and join in the word association or the chain game. Endless hours of amusement.

Welcome @DrowsyTheFriendlyDoper! Great name!

HMU if you wanna talk about meth or amps in general, but bring an extra set of ears with you ‘cause I’ll talk the pair you got now right off

My wife became my ex wife not long ago and imma still reeling from it all, so I also can come down fast if you need to get something off your chest, or want to whine or scream or kick ass, we can do that too

cya later - CD

Thanks for the welcome man, and in all honestly it is a combination. I started doing Meth in the beginning because gave me an escape from everyday stressors, and it did that job excellently. I mean, of course I fell in love with the euphoria and way the drug makes make me feel, but it seemed to me that I could dose myself with meth and not have to be concerned in the slightest with anything that was plaguing my mind, fuck, I could slam, blink, and before I knew it I was off talking to somebody or putting together some little project that felt fun.

I guess to put it in simple words, drugs have been an out for years, they help me deal with my confusion on how to feel "normal", although I won't defend my using them I can say that my depression has been ongoing pretty much constantly throughout my young years, the meth doesn't help, i'd say having my ritual of use and a small group of using friends that I'm comfortable around has however.
