Safely taking pills on airplane

Okay so I have a good bit of percocet 5s that were prescribed to me a couple of months ago but I lost my pill bottle for them. I am going on an airplane for my first time in a couple of days and was wondering about how strict the security will be? For me to be able to take the pills on the plane, will I have to strategically hide them or just put them in my luggage in another pill bottle or an Advil bottle or something? If you have any ideas or things that have worked for you, let me know. Thank you!
