Misc safe herbs to cope with benzo withdrawal

You are already taking L-Theanine which is a good start.

I always drink green tea (which contains L-Theanine) to help ease anxiety of withdrawals, but will always taper aswell.

Also, i have found that taking 5-htp capsules (about 100mg a day) help with almost every type of withdrawal... opiates, benzos, alcohol... you name it.

Basically it would work in a similar fashion as starting an anti-depressant at the start of each withdrawal, as it will hopefully allow increased serotonin levels duringa period when they could potentially be restricted by the withdrawal process from the drug you were taking.

In having said that, i have found that not everyone responds well to 5htp. I have always found it to be like a wonder pill (when found in capsule form), but other people have told me that it does either nothing for them, or makes them feel dizzy, or lightheaded.

Just my couple of bits to hopefully aid in your pursuits.

:)

alrigth i will give is a shot. I have one more thing I need cleared up. how long will lyrica prolong my recovery? if it makes it easier is it worth it?

im on lyrica and take phenibut. i hope they dont prolong it too much

Well, if you're already taking them and are adjusted to them, I doubt it'd prolong the withdrawal. I see what he/she means though, it could be just like trying to battle opioid withdrawal with codeine/PPT. :\

A combination of 3 Sun-Theanine capsules, 5 Hops capsules, and 3 Magnesium capsules seemed to really help me when I was WD from Lyrica. Not sure what or how it worked. But makes sense as they all work on the CNS (Central Nervous System).

Magnesium Aspartate is supposed to be the best. Make sure you get enough Calcium and Omega-3 too.

Also, have you tried Kratom for the depression? It's like opiate-coffee. Releieved like 50% of the symptomps for me.

kratom bothers my benzo withdrwal. i had a question about a few herbs. please tell me if they are helpful or if they will hurt my recovery
