Opioids Safe Dosage of "Embeda"

My doctor just prescribed me a long release morphine "Embeda 30-1.2MP", and I've never dealt with extended release meds before. My doc also has me on percocet 10mg 3x daily, but I take about 3-4 to get feelin good.. I take 5 to feel golden. I'm 6'2" 220lbs and wondering what are safe starting points for recreational? I...am scared of long release and the thought of ODing.

Please any suggestions or experience? As of right now I have taken 3 orally about 3 hours ago, and plugged 1...but not sure if it actually worked cause I think I crushed it. (The capsule) And I'm not sure if that triggered the med's safeguard, and the plugging was about 2 hours ago.
 
Dont worry about long extended release and ODing because Extended release means say its a 30mg and its a 8 hour extended release your only getting about 4 mgs of the pil absorbed and hour.
 
What if you ingested 120mg of crush embeda?

I've taken opioids before but it's been 4+ months...

Could this cause an OD? Isn't it hard to die if you have medical staff watching you?

I'm doing this for a clinical research study where I will be under constant surveillance.
 
Naltrexones bioavalability in the intestinal gut is negligable, but if IV'd it will reverse the effects of morphine. Naltrexone is an opiate antagonist which can reverse the effects of an OD and its much more longer lasting than Naloxone. With a longer half life and stronger mu receptor affinity. I would'nt try shooting it. Embeda isn't the ideal opiod analgesic if your chasing euphoria.
 
I'm going to be taking the 120mg crushed embeda orally.. I think it's going to be in a flavored liquid solution...

I suppose that will mean the morphine sulfate will hit me almost immediately and all at once, with the Naloxone somewhat reducing the effects of the morphine... Or it could make me go through withdrawals while i'm on morphine?...

I've been reading everywhere that people shouldn't take 120mg of crushed embeda unless your an opioid-tolerant individual... (Like I said, I've taken opioids before but not for a long time and I don't think I've ever taken above a 40mg of lortab or percocet...)
