hey everybody I hope all is well that ends well;) This is my 1st post in the Cannabis forum and I KNOW that my fellow stoner BLers will be able to help me out!!

Ok so I started with germinating 10 seeds(feminized) Put them in a "Germination Station" with the heating pad underneath while the seeds were inside the tray/dome cover. After about 4ish days they all sprouted that beautiful small little tail=D I then proceeded to put them in "Root Riot" Organic Starter Cubes. I soaked the cubes in room temp water overnight and then took a toothpick and burrowed a whole in the starter cubes that were soaked over night and put a seed in each one Root Down and covered the top Gently with some of a another stater cube.

Now my main ? is and please remember I am a noob to this particular forum. I want to know-- 1) how often I should water each cube? 2) How much water per cube? 3) How long should it take for them to actually sprout that beautiful God-sent green little leaf!?!?! I put them under a T-5 Fluo SunBlaster 48in" light about 3 and a half days ago. Ive water them and very sparingly maybe 3 times in 4 days. But What I use is a 5ml syringe, the kind w/o the needle just the dropper like they use in hospitals. I will drop maybe 2-4mls per starter cube when the cube itself looks and feels VERY dry. Is this bad?Am I over or under watering them?? The cubes look and feel and even have shrunk a little bit since being under the light 24/7. If anubody could help me out I would forever be in your debts and send u all free weed=D If I could of course!

Maybe somebody could post or link something that is only related to seedlings( planting the already germinated seeds in starter cubes and the times they should be water how much per day?? etc etc. Oh and how fAR should the cube tray be away from my sunblaster? ive haD them like 6inch away from the light.

Thanks an infinite times over in advance for any and all advice that will come from my fellow BLers!!!!!

oh btw, im gunna be growing in FoxFarms soil indoors.

water them when they go dry.

water them enough to soak them but not too much. use sense.

if they havent sprouted any leaves dont have a light on them. this does nothing as there are no leaves to absorb the light.

you are under watering them.

check out icmag.com, they are a pretty pro website with info for all levels of growing, and huge amounts
of info related to all aspects of growing too.

however expect to be underwhelmed at your first harvest. the pics you see of huge tree trunk buds
have been grown by people who are very, very good at growing.

^thanks for posting bro!! I had a feeling i was underwatering them but with all the shit ive read about 'over-watering' mj plants to me its seems that im just doing what im suppose to you know. I dont expect to yeild anything close to what more experienced growers do, I just want my damn seeds to sprout that little green leaf! its only been 3 days under the Sunblaster light, which btw are you saying that I should turn the light off UNTIL I see something coming up through the cube/soil??? I guess im confused to the tings that ive read here, grasscity and rollitup. I thought that once they germinated you stick um in w-e medium your using and then put the light on them until they begin to sprout and then continuie until they are tall/able enough to go under the HPS/MH lights etc. SO should I water them fairly good now and keep the light off for a day or couple? Ive got a fan blowing in the room as its kinda muggy and humid where i am right now so i thought it would be good to circulate air an all. anyway thanks agian and hope to learn more from u guys as I go!!!!

yes, the light is just wasting electricity and drying out the cubes.

in plants, photosynthesis works as follows-

plants absorb light through their leaves.
this gives the plants energy.
its like a plants solar panels..

with no leaves to absorb light, why is the light switched on?

& dont rely on Cannabis Discussion on BL for growing advice.
sure we have a few other gardeners, but most of us are lazy stoners.

also, do not overfeed your plants. over feeding and chemical burns = poor to unusable bud in the end. Until those seeds germinate, you don't need a light.

Before I started my first batch, I used to grow tomatoes and garden with my old man to get some knowledge. Also read up on the cannabis grow bible, it is available to download on torrent.

nobody likes taking a toke and getting a mouthfull of chemical taste...

thanks to my nan, im a greenthumb since i was a kid :D
