Rule Clarification/Discussion on Stamps

I was going to ask this via PM, but I figured that others may have the same question, so a thread would be more beneficial.

What can/can't be said about a stamp in the General Heroin Discussion thread? We know we can't have a rating thread, and that's fine, but I don't see why we can't talk about the stamps in passing, as it's the same thing as what is said in other areas.

Examples:
"My guy had a new batch of that King of Dope stamp today. The count is alright, it's darker dope, but it's stronger than the last, and a different cut."
or
"I've got these funny stamps today, they've got a picture of ______"

I don't see how this is any different than someone from, say, Chicago, saying;
"I was on the westside and hit up a spot with the red tape bags. They were fatter than usual, but were pretty weak and you could see pink specks from the dormin."

So a little clarification would be nice. I thought of this because before rob007 had said he got bags that tasted like big red cinnamon gum, and I wanted to ask the stamp, but didn't know if it would be allowed. It's not that I want to come on here to specifically talk about quality/quantity of a particular stamp name, it's more that I don't want to have to go out of my way to NOT mention this stuff in passing. The reasons for the stamp threads being closed (sourcing, fake ratings) really wouldn't come into play in the General Heroin Thread if we are just mention a stamp name, and if we were pleased or pissed with how they were, or other things like funny stamps or odd things about them.

That's a good question Tommy and definitely something that needs to be addressed. For now I can only really say what we (or maybe just I) have been doing in this case which is to allow what has already been happening stamp wise. As long as it is just in passing then I have just been leaving it alone. I know many people have been posting some pics and mentioning their stamps lately but, I don't think that it's gotten to the level that we need to intervene.

Honestly we haven't really talked about this one yet and I don't mean to speak for Wiggi and Recky but, I think it's safe to say that all three of us are comfortable with the way people are handling it now. Great question though man. I'm sure we will be making some changes to the guidelines to make this one clearer.

Yeah I feel the same way. I think it's cool to bring up in conversation, and the pictures of the stamps Tommy you've been doing that a while as well as a few others and I haven't felt the need to stop it. I guess it's a grey area, it's cool to mention them, just don't go out into an all out critique. There really never was a set rule that I know of, just be reasonable. There's no stamp discussion threads, I guess take that for what it is. Just don't get carried away and I have no problem.

Having no knowledge of heroin, can you explain what a stamp is?

Is it the equivalent to tabs having a color/symbol?

In some markets in the Northeast (mostly NJ and NYC and that area) powder heroin comes in bags marked with a stamp almost like a "brand name" if you want to think of it like that.
