Rubber stoppers for big bongs to clean with

Hi just like the title says im wondering if its possible to buy big stoppers to plug the hole in the top of the bong with and also smaller ones to plus the stem. the reason im asking is because i want to surprise a friend with some personalized rubber stoppers (maybe if you could customize them with names or monograms that would be neat)
 
what is the point in these stoppers?
if you mean to keep smoke in, that would just make it stale.

but yes, it is possible to buy ones that fit.
try a glassware/chemistry equipment shop online.
they usually have stoppers for all sizes of beakers.

Hmm, I still think they are kinda pointless...I just use a few paper towels and hold them over both holes, and it seems to do the job just fine. I'd also be concerned that if the stopper wasn't an exact fit, either liquid would go everywhere or the glass could end up cracking, especially if it's 3mm or thinner.

Maybe for an awesome present, you could get him a personalized poker, or just a really sweet one? Those are always awesome. I also bought a friend a baby bottle brush that had a smaller one attached and a rubber sponge on one end, which was a great cleaning supply. Just some stoner gift suggestions :)

EDIT: Now that I re-read this, I'm not sure what you mean by "big"...if you mean like a 3-footer or something, maybe the stoppers do have a practical use..I'd still be cautious though, and I still stand by my other suggestions :)

What's the bong made out of?

With the acrylic plastic bongs I'd just dump out the dirty water and use rubbing alcohol on q-tips on the metal bowl and I never put rubbing alcohol in the bong. I'd also rinse the bong with hot water.

If the bong was glass I'd just pour salt and rubbing alcohol in it and shake that around and dump it out and rinse the entire bong out with water.

edit: These were small bongs, or maybe 10-12" at the most, not a 3ft. bong.

If you want stoppers do what sega said and get them from a place that sells chemistry equipment.

whats the point of cleaning with a rubber stopper vs. a paper towel? Well, its like putting cheap gas in a mercedes, we've got a 3 ft. ish bong with a petri dish base and would like some baller rubber stoppers to put in it to clean it with. its like, taking pride in your ride you wanna have the best equipment for the job.
 
Hmm I guess blackjesus, I just feel like if you keep it clean very regularly that the stoppers for a hardcore cleaning job aren't necessary. Plus, I did later add that if it was like a 3 footer then it would be practical. And, I guess me being a poor grad student means I don't think of such things...however, I still laugh at the fools who use 420 cleaner and swear by my cheapo seasalt and rubbing alcohol (91% of course) :)
