Greenlighter
Hey staff and experienced BLers,
I've got my account set up such that each thread I post in is automatically added to my subscriptions so I can keep track of conversations I'm in. I figure if there is a 'mega' thread I stop participating in or get bored of I can always unsubscribe, but as a greenlighter I haven't had to deal with that yet.
Anyways I was wondering if, as per the title, there is an RSS feed that I could use to monitor when something new shows up in my control panel? I'm aware that I can have an email alert sent each time, but that seems over the top and would end up being irritating if it were a general thread not the one or two I was involved in a conversation with waiting for a reply.
My solution at the moment is to check my control panel every few hours or at whatever frequency I feel like, but an RSS feed lighting up in my browser when I load an unrelated site and me being able to quickly check it and move on without interrupting what I am doing would be the ideal behaviour.
If it isn't available I'd be happy to hear other people's solutions. Perhaps turn emails alerts on and write some mailbox rules that keep everything clean and pop-up an alert. Or (depending on how much of BL's API is public) have a little script that periodically runs cUrl and parses the text.
Righto that's all.
