Rozerem High?

Was at the doc's today, and he gave me a sample of a sleeping med called Rozerem. The active ingredient in it is Ramelteon. I attempted to do research on it, but didn't find much on it. All I found was that it's somewhat similar to a weed-like high (has psychoactive effects).
Does anyone know any further details? What I have are 8mg tablets. If they do in fact induce a high, how much would I need for a decent buzz? I've yet to take this drug at all.

Ramelteon isn't directly recreational in any sort of way. It's a melatonin receptor agonist (basically an analog of melatonin). Melatonin is pretty much non recreational.

Increasing the dose too much is probably not smart 'cause mice that took 20x the recommended dose were susceptible to liver tumors. I'd just take it "as directed" - it should make you feel something just on its own at a normal dose. It is after all a sleeping medication.

Melatonin is over the counter pretty much anywhere in the world.
All it does is make me sleepy. No recreational value, what so ever.
