Hey everyone, so I wanted to share an experience to try to figure out what was happening to this person. I'm sure someone has some insight, but googling I didn't find anything with similar symptoms...

So one night out friends decide to take 2 pills each, capsule form. Needless to say they were fine as one person had the time of their lives on them with no comedown the next day and it was just a happy roll. Other person who had taken it in pill pressed form, which seem like they could have been a smaller dose per pill? also decides to take two. First one was taken at 10 pm. Felt great, started to wear off, or so they assumed, and popped another at 12. Up until 2am they were raging their faces off and keeping hydrated but didn't feel much. When the night was over at around 2:30 things got scary. This person started feeling stiff in the legs, still thinking that the roll they were on was awesome so we thought nothing of it. They had trouble going down the stairs and noticed that as they held hands they had trouble interlocking fingers with the other person. But they seemed ok so we thought nothing of it.

Got to the car after about 10 minutes and started the trip back home. While holding a conversation with this person they suddenly start jumbling words, and getting pissed off at themselves for not being able to make a full sentence. Fast forward about 20 minutes this person vomited twice and we get to the ER. at this point they are in and out and we are just trying to keep them awake. They completely lost ability to walk on their own without guidance and completely went silent, unable to respond unless it was a nod. In the ER we had to wait about an hour because the nurse just thought this person was a moron and decided they don't matter much and they are over exaggerating the situation even though they were in and out of conciousness.

Fast forward again we were taken in and this person is still unable to speak, and keeps their left arm arched against their body.Unable to control it. When asked to move the left arm they moved the right. Doctor poked it hard and no feeling. Seemingly the left side was out of wack from arm down to leg. Also very hard to move knees to sit down and seemed to walk with the pelvis out.

Person was very shaky and jittery, when being spoken to seemed to be in a completely other world, would be asked a question and stare at you blankly might be able to nod to answer yes or no but more or less completely zoned out.

Hours passed and this person decides to get up and begins dancing in the ER, and we would try to keep them in one place so as to not rip the cables from the monitors or IV from the arm. Again they were in their own world. Fast forward to the next day apparently sodium dipped low, doctors claimed there was a high risk for a heart attack, speech came back fully, feeling in left arm came back fully same as leg.

So was this a normal case of MDMA intoxication? I haven't read of anyone losing feeling in a certain side before, or completely going mute like that, but again I don't know much about overdosing. This person did stay hydrated throughout the whole night but apparently still was dehydrated. Also one thing to note this person had not eatenn much that day or the day before so I'm assuming that played a huge role in causing problems. Final note
person was around 120 lbs. Everyone had taken the 2 caps, and felt fine, just this person completely got wacked out.

Sounds like there's lots at play here man.
First off, I know everyone else was fine, but you said one person took caps, and the other took pressys. So this is two different kinds of molly then...? Or did you crush up the pills and put them in caps? Even this can play different effects on the body, if it was crushed pills, then those persons would have it go through their system faster. A pressed pill will take longer to fully dissolve.
second thing that comes to mind is that you were raging..meaning dancing out of control?
I would think even for someone who has ate during the day, after a night of dancing, your body is draineddd, (particularly energy, water, and vitamins, minerals).
So after having read that you didn't eat prior to raging, I would say thats a somewhat dangerous scenario.
And about the paralyzed half of your body, that sounds more like a stroke than a heart attack bro. Which is a little bit scarier if you ask me, you should be lucky that person is even using that part of their body now.
"A stroke, sometimes referred to by the older term cerebrovascular accident (CVA), is the rapid loss of brain function due to disturbance in the blood supply to the brain. This can be due to ischemia (lack of blood flow) caused by blockage (thrombosis, arterial embolism), or a hemorrhage.[1] As a result, the affected area of the brain cannot function, which might result in an inability to move one or more limbs on one side of the body, inability to understand or formulate speech, or an inability to see one side of the visual field.
A stroke is a medical emergency and can cause permanent neurological damage and death. Risk factors for stroke include old age, high blood pressure, previous stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), diabetes, high cholesterol, tobacco smoking and atrial fibrillation.[2] High blood pressure is the most important modifiable risk factor of stroke.[2] It is the second leading cause of death worldwide.[3]"" --taken from wiki....

You should probably go to your family doctor to get a ct scan and check if there was any permanent damage to the brain...at first it was just a thought, but after looking it up on wiki, that sounds bang on bro....you should be very cautious about this and check with your doctor

And I think being dehydrated or not having enough food would eventually cause the person to render unconcious... I'm not sure it would cause any temporary psychological or physical disorders to the body.
I've been stoned in a movie store with no food in my tummy, and I started getting super hungry rapidly, I started looking at the snacks around me on the counter and the drinks, and before I could grab one my vision closed black from the outward corners towards the middle until I couldn't see...eventually I lost balance and fell back on the person behind me and fell unconscious for about a minute, and then woke up in a panic and ran out the store. I think hunger would be something more similar to this.
And dehydration, would be a bit more like a permanent or longer unconscious, because the body wouldn't be able to just break down fats and muscle tissue for water the same way it can for energy and feeding hunger. If it were severe dehydration, I would assume the person would start to feel tired and sore, dry tongue and noticable feelings of thirst, eventually would get dizzy and collapsed to the floor rendering them semi-unconcious. From the an ambulance would pickup the raver from so-so club, and probably inject them with some sort of life saving adenaline hormone, along with IV fluids to absorb quicker into the body.
Your friend sounds like they were more or less fully conscious for the first half of their bad trip...feeling weak at the stairs, getting to the car, driving towards home, vomiting, heading to ER, and somewhere around there this person seems to have become unconscious.
