Romance Novels

Lately I've really been wanting to read a GOOD romance novel. Not the classic kind, but more of a modern kind. A real touching one, one that will make me cry basically. I watched the notebook last night and loved it, so I'd like to read something along those lines of romance. Any suggestions?

i know you said no classics, but i seriously recommend tess of the d'ubervilles by Hardy as a guaranteed bawl-your-eyes-out-at-the-end novel.

I love reading books by Danielle Steel.
She has quite a few romance ones. Everyone I've read, I've loved.
