It was the city of Los Angels's idea to put dogs at Love Fest... they made it sound like they plan on doing it in the future for safety reasons.. Of course the festival this weekend is not in Los Angeles... however there is one in about a month.. I would be more worried about that one in case the city decided to bring their dogs again.

Anyway the problem was that if a dog sniff it, that's probable cause for a mre thourough searxh...

But that's out of the question now because so awesome is so awesome.

dogs can seperate up to fifty differant smells at the same time. when they smell drugs (and they will no matter what other smell you have on you) they sit down.

Yeah I read that article the ex narcotics officer put out explaining how a dogs smell works. He's seen the most elaborate schemes in his day. Drugs vacuum sealed, dipped in a huge tub of mustard covering the whole bag. Then the bucket sealed and put into a bin filled with coffee grounds, completely covered and sealed put into a crate. Dog still found the drugs. There's no escaping.

Luckily so amazed left me amazed by calling and checkin for us. Gonna be fun!! Stay safe today u playas!
 
The ground beef thing was a joke dude ;) clearly the pressence of bomb sniffing dogs is to make it appear like they are drug dogs, and get people to reveal themselves or throw their stuff out. I've heard all sorts of dumb theories on tricking dogs, lol. Better just not to bring drugs if there really are drug dogs lol.

did anyone go to nocturnal this past saturday in LA? were there dogs there?
I feel like different production companies will run different policies...
ex. Insomniac > Hard in the way that they still allow kandi/lights...
if anyone can find specific info about Hard Haunted that would be nice...

there werent any dogs there..getting searched wasnt bad..they did make everyone take their shoes off..but didnt check socks or anything..checked everyones kandi..and then they just did the usual pat down and whatnot..went by pretty quick
noc was AMAZING!
 
The Head Of sacurity At Hard comming up at the end of OCT. Well... I spoke to him and he was Pretty wonderful and infomitive. He even Offered the following statment ....
"We don't want them to sneek drugs in, But it always happends. We are more worried about them being safe and responsabul. So we do eveything we can to have on hand what they need. And 9 out of 10 times it happens. We are more worried about the safty of everyone attending. We want them to have a good time."
And there was LOTS MORE!!!
He was a real good guy and pretty straight UP!
