After shopping around for a community/forum like this I have decided on this one!!!! A little bit of background...originally from Vancouver British Columbia but have resided in Atlanta for so long I am more American than Canadian I am 25, since I was 16 years old I have been an IV heroin user (with breaks in between of course). I have an appointment with a suboxone doctor tomorrow.....I have a 1-2 gram IV habit and it's sucking my energy and preventing me from working as much as I would want to. Anyways; happy to be apart of the community )))

Welcome aboard! I think you could get a lot of support from the people that post in The Dark Side. There are a lot of compassionate people there that know what you're going through. You should definitely check it out.

Hiya AKK welcome. This is an awesome community, you will find yourself right at home here. Our Dark Side section focusses on recovery and the path to it. It also has an amazing community within itself that provides a lot of support from regular people who get to know you idividually as a person. It's really been the only thing that worked for me with staying clean.
