Robitussin DM/AC + Alcohol

I have a non-productive cough. I went to the doctor and he gave me AC for when I'm sitting home and DM for when I have to be active. I am taking just a normal dose. Is it ok to drink alcohol with either of these? There isn't a warning that says not to drink alcohol while taking DM. And on the AC bottle it says that it makes you drowsey and that alcohol may intensify it. Anybody know? Thanks.

Yeah there should be no problem what so ever.
Unless your Binge drinker... I wouldn't worry about it.
Also, if your interested, you can tell your pharmacy, or doctor that the cough is keeping you up... even with the robitussin. You might get some cough syrup with codeine in it

Robitussin AC does have codeine in it. =)
Just for the hell of it, I doubled up one of my doses yesterday. I felt a little something, but nothing that enjoyable. Kinda leary to take much more than a double dose..
