'In a shocking revelation, Robbie Williams has admitted taking 60s psychedelic drug mescaline, made from cactus, during his downward spiral in the final days of ‘Take That version 1.0’.

In one mad session in Ibiza during the group's mid-90s heyday, Robbie said he downed a cocktail that included the mind-warp mixture.

"I wasn't going to do any drugs because I had to be back at Gary Barlow's house the next day. But I drank these drinks called Poco Locos, at 30 quid a glass, which had mescaline, acid and ecstasy in them,” News Of The World quoted the rock star as saying.

"I had to catch a plane early in the morning, totally and utterly off my head. I got to Gary Barlow's house and everybody was waiting for me. I went in and I put my hands up and went, 'I've found God!' Then I collapsed and went to sleep for 48 hours in his bed," he recalled a little more from his drenched in drink past.

Not surprisingly Robbie didn't manage to get the recording done and it wasn't long before he fell out with Gary, his new best mate.'
 
I can't stand this Guy. He doesn't make me laugh and whenever he starts on an impression he can't stop. He keeps going and going and if you look at his eyes he's just as scared and helpless as he looks. It makes me nervous.

ill just be honest, it kinda sounds like bullshit that the drink would have mescaline, acid and exstacy in it all at once, that just seems like one of thoose urban lengends people brag about, but don't lknow jack shit

It's too bad he couldnt have done with it what many did which was actually make some pretty good sounding music instead of the absolute shit he put's out! That is when he can stand up long enough to record or sing at all 8) . Fucking waster right enough. But then again drugs can't give you talent they just put a new slant on things so no matter what this cunt takes his music will still sound like shit.

It's stupid calling this a 60's drug just as it is stupid calling psilocybin a 60's drug but sadly certain psychedelics have become associated with hippies in the eyes of the media anyway. This is despite the fact that these drugs have been in use longer then the bible. But now they are all lumped together as hippie drugs (well LSD, mescaline and shrooms are anyway) and they associated with the freakouts you see on anti-drug propaganda from that era.

I doubt the useless bastard would have recorded anything anyway as if he had not have taken these drugs he would have probably just climbed into a bottle of vodka and have not been seen for weeks.
