Ritalin Prescription Protocol?

I got a prescription for Ritalin yesterday and i had to take a drug test. The only thing I could (only could, I dont smoke regularly) test positive for is marijuana.

My question is... Would a doctor not renew my prescription if I tested positive for pot? I really need it for my schoolwork haha.

yeah, they'll deny you.
my doctor told me recently that she had to refuse it if i failed any of her random drug tests
also, my moms a family practice dr/pediatrician and she said the same thing.
so id either borrow some pee... or clean up between now and then

oh..also.. they said its cause they dont want to be obligated for what happens to you when you mix your prescription with weed or other drugs.

sheeeiiiiit, fuck that, you need to get another doctor nowadays marijuana is a prescription medicine in 14 states, They work for you, You don't work for them. So get anothe doctor whos not all into your business, unless of course your a minor, cause then well........ Your Fucked.

it depends who your with.
like my medical is through Facey.
and its like policy to do random drug testing if they write prescriptions for certain drugs
like ritalin, certain opiates, any anti depressant/ anxiety meds.
it really sucks
