Stimulants Ritalin Extraction: Unsure about results

So I got my script for 40mg LA. Picked up some isopropyl from hardware store as well. I followed the instructions (Filtering took nearly 2 hours, if not a little more...) and after all the isopropyl evaporated, I was left with this crystal substance stuck to the pyrex bowl.
So i scraped all of this off and kept aside. later at night I wanted to sample some of my creation.
Now the texture is very fluffy, and sticky? Does this seem right?
I tried to cut a line, but it all stuck to the card I used. I then rolled it into a sticky ball, and stuck it n my cigarette, and lit. Good heavens, It tasted like i just licked the arse of a dog with diarrhea, and smells even worse. It did give me a kick though, although i will not really call it euphoric. Also it only lasted about a minute or so.
Sad thing is, I thought this procedure is so fool proof and easy, So I used half a bottle of ritalin.
In the mean time i crushed up 2 and railing that for the night.
What can i do with this stuff that came out?
How can i get it snortable again?
 
stick a bit of the ball in your nose, maybe in the center of some cotton so you don't pull it through your nasal passage and into your mouth.

does the ball seem rubbery?
 
what were you trying to accomplish, brand name 'ritalin' shouldn't have a time release, and concerta is easy as hell to break, just take them normal to feel the effects

if you are looking for a better speed high, theres any number of amphetamines or cocaine you should be using
 
This seems to be your first problem.. why are you trying to smoke methylphenidate? Have you tried orally dosing?

as far as i know, Ritalin is an Instant Release formulation and extraction isn't really necessary.
 
Ive lost controll with coke. For about 3 months i used about 5 or 6 grams a week.
Ritalin la is time release, and full of some milk solids or lactose stuff. Also plenty starch. My rit lines are huge, then your nose end up beeing full of this milk solid shit. I want the pure goods. It metabolize better, and feels better. I have not touched coke in a month, and want to keep off for at least another 5. Now rit is my next in line upper
 
Mods, can we perhaps move this to the advanced forum? It is basically a chemistry thread, and will perform better over there i think.
 
So it looks like every one is pretty happy with just snorting a bunch of dried milk with their ritalin. I think i will try to make a nasel spray so that i do not waste the result of 15 pills of rit

I am a software developer. My best code comes from when I'm slightly tweaked, and late at night.
Uppers is the thing.
This is what I want from my upper.
It needs to be stronger than Ritalin. I do not like snorting 10cm long lines with very little "drug" in them. Small lines with a potent upper like cocaine. Problem with cocaine is i like it a little too much. I'm finding it hard to say no to buy it. I will draw money from an already overdrawn bank account in order to get some. So I'm staying clear of that. for now. I've wasted thousands already on it.
If I can find a way to make Ritalin a little more potent, that will be perfect.
Ritalin does not cause bad and embarrassing nose bleeds like coke does.

The other thing is, When crushing ritalin, some of the slow release action still stays behind. So If i work until 2AM, then go to bed to catch 3 hours of sleep before work, i want my upper to wear off quickly and allow me to sleep. Often I find going to bed at 2AM, i will lie awake until my alarm goes off. Then I'm pretty screwed for the rest of the day.

So to strip the ritalin of all Long acting agents, will ensure that I will snort a line, be up and down in 20 minutes.
Nice thing about cocaine is I can have that last line at 2am, lie in bed enjoying the last bit of my buzz, then drift off.
With rit, I've even tried smoking a joint to soft of force a down, but that does not work.

I've made piece with the idea that I will have to stick with ritalin as it is. or at least crush it put it back in the capsule, then swallow it. For now, I woud just like to find something to do with the end product I made previously.
For an acurate discription:
The texture is like candyfloss almost.
so it look powdery, but you can roll it into a sticky ball.
Maybe I should try stick a ball up into the darkness :-)?
 
I totally understand wanting to substitute in another stimulant to avoid the pangs of cocaine's likelihood to abuse, but methylphenidate is considerably different as you may well know. Cocaine is a much shorter acting stim. Regardless of how "potent" you got your ritalin (which is not anymore potent than the amount of milligrams you started with, just less binders and mass), I still do not think that you will be able to have those short speed sessions that you would like. Everyone is different, but for the most part MPD lingers around and causes significant crash in most people. I'm not saying that coke cannot cause you to crash, but I am on Concerta, and I plugg mine. When my dose wears off, after several hours, I have achy joints and a whole array of shitty comedown characteristics. You could take less, but to get that creative "pop" that you're looking for I believe you'll need a larger dose of MPD, which in turn will most likely cause a crash of some sort.
 
I have not tried it before. Also have no idea where to get it. My dealer sugested khat, but frankly, im not liking the idea. Crusing, then eating seems ok for now. Maybe i will give coke a shot again, but be stricter with my self.
 
I get the 10mg ritalin and 20mg, not the ER kind either, fuck those

the ones i get crush up into i nice fine powder and give me a nice rush.


try those.
 
Shooting ritalin, after putting it through a fancy wheel filter which removed everything, still gave an abcess about 2cm deep and 4cm wide that needed surgery. I was hospital for 6 days from that one shot. I got australian ritalin, so maybe thats different.

Careful with ritalin, shoot a tiny small shot, wait a few days. Abcess turns up after a few days and needs to be cut out, very painful. If not you might havea better brand than me.
 
If you're looking for a stimulant then adderall or dexedrine would probably work better.
