Been working on Ritalin all day (30mg orally at 5pm, 10mg insuffulated 11pm, 10mg orally 1am). It's 3am now and I'd like to go to sleep soon. I have xanax and diphenhydramine, but I took diphenhydramine last night so may have a slight tolerance? I also have some herbal sleeping pills (valerian, hops, passion flower).

What would be best to take, soon, for an 8 hour sleep that won't leave me too groggy and won't be dangerous so soon after the Ritalin (it's been 2 hours)? Thanks :)

Cheers man, know I may be overly cautious at times but don't want my heart to stop, would feel pretty foolish then :)

Well, if your heart stopped you probably wouldn't feel anything... let's hope that doesn't happen..

I'm not a doctor and everyone is different so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I'm prescribed 40 to 50mgs of Ritalin daily and now that I've been on it a while I can almost fall asleep on it after a couple hours have passed, I couldn't do that with adderall... maybe dexedrine. But anyway I'm also prescribed 2mgs of Klonopin a day and 10mgs of Ambien at night to be taken as needed.

So I'm prescribed Ritalin and Klonopin and Ambien, I've taken klonopin and ambien to sleep while coming off of Ritalin or Adderall more times than I could possibly count and I'm fine. I don't think it's that dangerous when you're dealing with small doses. Especially if you're prescribed the drugs.

I don't think you're in any danger, if you have benzos and can't sleep take the smallest amount possible and you should be fine, you could take some benadryl too if you feel you need it.

Anyway, good luck, I don't think you're in any danger but if you're concerned you should always consult a doctor.
