Misc Ritalin causing HPPD?

The day after I did 2c-i I took 30mg of my new IR Ritalin. I was switched to this from Ritalin LA, so I'd been used to taking it. But, it gave me a panic attack and I developed mild HPPD symptoms (very minor visual static on monochrome surfaces, and floaters). It was about 5 P.M. when I took the Rit, 6 when I had the panic attack and symptoms, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't the 2c-i or I would have noticed symptoms earlier in the day at work (I work outside).
I'm just wondering if this is possible? Thanks guys.

Also, I thought I'd include that cannabis doesn't affect my symptoms (except while under it's influence) and benzo's don't make it any less noticeable.

Also, again lol, I see negative after-images. Ie: If I stare at anything red for say 5 or so seconds, when I look away, again at a monochrome surface, I see a blue after-image.

These are normal artifacts of the human visual system.

Ritalin doesn't cause HPPD, it can cause anxiety, however, which is more akin to what you're experiencing I'd guess. Lower your dosage.

I quit taking it. I had anxiety at first but it's gone now luckily. I still plan on continuing my use of psychs, as I'm pretty sure I don't have HPPD. Just need some re-assurance every once in a while, you know? haha.

And, Dr. Henry David Abraham (an expert on HPPD) said, " I have seen
several cases of HPPD associated with SSRIs and Ritalin, without prior use
of hallucinogenic drugs."
