RIP Turk182 1981-2010,

just got word that Jesse aka Turk182 passed away this last weekend. some of you may not remember as he was part of the Canberra BL in Crew 2000-2005. he inspired bl in canberra to gain knowledge about taking substances and provided a lot of education to keep people safe when starting. Most notably known for his green tshirt with a horse head on the front and a big smile to greet old friends. An inspirational teacher and knowledge of pharmacology. he was a battler who had been round the canberra scene for its heyday and continued on through with his battle with life. Turk182 was a good soul tormented by the past, but always kind enough to connect and guide you above his own needs. May your soul pass through to calmer places.

Thanks for passing this on Mick - I remember meeting Jesse once and he seemed like a sweet guy. Thinking of all his family and friends <3

Ah shit, not another one :( I just logged on for the first time in a while and now I'm sitting in the middle of a net cafe a bit lost for words after reading this news.

Jesse was a good egg at heart. Hadn't chatted to him in a long while, but I was just wondering recently how he was travelling. I always hoped he might be able to break free from his troubles, but it seems it was not to be.

Rest well, friend <3

His funeral was today, was good to be there with mick and melvin (if any of you cats remember him).

We'll be heading out there again in a few months to visit.

Wow much like some i haven't been on here much of late, but i knew Jesse from the CBR BL Crew days. Sad news indeed.

RIP Jesse

:(

WTF!!??!!!

Him and I use to be fairly close friends but haven't seen or spoken to him for years!! Shit, maybe I last spoke to him in 2003?

I remember meeting him for the first time in Sydney where he told me he was grateful I'd spoken to him on IRC one night when he was having a really bad come down and was in a pretty bad place. I also remember him, a mate of mine and I went to a warehouse party somewhere near Broadway. Oct long weekend in 2002 I remember crashing at his house with Plazma and Supadiscobreaka. He had his troubles and certainly had a past but was an all round good guy when I knew him.

RIP

I'm going to move this over to the Bluelight Shrine... RIP Turk182.
