I'm so distressed to hear and see the comments about the young man who died at the Happy Valley Moon Festival back in feb 2000.. Well that young man was my brother Steve.. On behalf of my family i would like to clear a few things up that had been reported by the media.. My family at the time of his death chose not to talk to the media out of respect and the fact that we needed time as a family to grieve our loss of a wonderful man.. After reading ppls posts in here i am shocked to the core that the media lead the general public to believe that my brother had taken combination of lethal drugs mixed with alcohol which lead to his death.. Well the media had it wrong!!! The autopsy report and coroner's report showed he had only PMA in his system.. No alcohol and he wasn't partying for days as suggested by ppl at the festival and media.. He had infact taken what he believed to be any ecstasy tablet.. My brother was not a slender build either.. He was over 6ft4.. If you saw what i saw at the morgue when i said my last goodbyes you would NEVER take an eccy again

Thankyou! After reading a some posts in here about ppl believing the media reports.. I just needed to let ppl know that you can't believe everything you read.. On a brighter side we donated his brain to medical science so they can see and work out how PMA effects the brain.. At the time of his death they didn't know much about PMA as he was the 2nd recorded death from it.. It's a little bit of comfort for the family to think it might help medical science understand the drug better..Last edited:
