almost shedding a tear for Lou Reed right...

what a fucking visionary, who changed music to be even more of an art form yet at the same time even more accessible to the common musician...

I was so sad when i heard! Not last night i was putting the gray album on to burn a joint to, he's literally my single greatest musical influence :( R.I.P.

Lou inspired me creatively more than any other human.

He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
 
I was so sad when i heard this. The words music legend get tossed around alot but in Lou's case he really was a legend. He influenced just about every band worth a shit after the first Velvet Underground album came out and was a true innovator. This is a real huge loss to the music world.

His songs are the song track of my youth. He could be a asshole and authentic all in the same moment. A brilliant man who didn't suffer fools. I just saw a picture of him walking in Soho with a cane, and felt sorry for him...and now he's gone.
 
RIP lou Reed.
I hate it when legends die. Legends aren't supposed to die. People like Lou Reed are immortal folk figures, they're beyond death.
