So I attempted a quick search to see if Rilutek had been discussed. I didn't see anything, and sorry if I missed it.

I recently discovered reports of Rilutek being used to treat depression and bipolar. Now Rilutek is most commonly used to battle Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).

From my understanding, Rilutek / Riluzole works similarly to Ketamine. Similar as in it is an NMDA agonist and works on glutamate.

I feel this is the proof I've been waiting for to support my claim that dissociatives relieve my turbulent bipolar mind. I don't feel I have to prove anything to you guys; you're all very knowledgeable. I needed proof for my family. It seems that if it's in the news, it's legit.

I feel like I'm late in the game so forgive my shitty post if I'm being ignorant.

I was wondering if others knew anything about this, or better yet, have experience with the drug itself.

My understanding is that it's still really a new thing and really only being used in trials at this point.

I see this clip for what it is; Hyped up and vague nightly news, but here's the clip that turned the tides for me and my family:

Back in the day when I told them that special k relieved my depression for several days, they scoffed. they scoffed hard. I see how it could be viewed as me justifying my use. I mean for me it was like an anti-depressand, a psycho-spiritual tool, AND fun!

Obviously Rilutek wouldn't give me a high, and at this point that's totally fine with me. I just want to get on with my life.
