Ridiculous tolerance

As some of you may have read in other forums, I was put on suboxone for around a month and took around 12mgs a day. I had no idea how much they increased tolerance. I did 60mgs of oxy last night and barely felt it.

Is there anything I can do here? Other than take a fuck ton of whatever I've got? I've read that dex can help in lowering tolerance, I just don't want the alcohol present in most OTC dex containing pills to make me sleepy.

i think only abstinence will remove the tolerance.... but extremely slowly, hell i remember the days when i'd take 20mg of codeine and be fucked up. even after a 6 month break from all opiates my tolerance was still rocket high, if i wanna get high off codeine/dhc anymore its always gotta be in the 400mg range, but this is just me and POSSIBLY after a week or two of not taking any you'll have reduced your tolerance significantly...

i noticed that if i took say... 25-50MG of DXM it would reduce my tolerance a little bit... but would also mess up the high a bit too, it feels a little different, oh and not to mention DXM makes me unable to piss. literally. i cant.

Did you use the suboxone recently? Because it will block the effect of other opiates if taken within about 24 hours of each other.

have you tried a small does of dxm? if youre scared about the alcohol making you sleepy try adding a little caffeine (20-30mg) although the alcohol content within a gel cap of dxm or even the cough syrup will pretty much be negligible and be sure to not intake too much dxm!! like i said 25-50mg dxm usually reduced my tolerance drastically. but it does come with the side effects, maybe you wont get them as bad. taking any more dxm will destroy the opiate high trust me.

DXM, as well as other dissociatives, seems to prevent and even reverse tolerance to (and thus physical addiction to) many drugs.

Don't expect miracles. It's going to take time. I had the same thing happen to me from taking suboxone for a while, and even after taking a 2 month break my tolerance wasn't as low as expected. You need to take some days off between use. The first use after a break is pretty good, but your tolerance goes back up so fast if you continue to use regularly.
