ok so someone helpd j, he helpd it to much. ghost busters is on. on lersm doit it!
mixinbg rice with soup is a good idea ;)

I'm telling you guys... it is all about the tomatoes...

take some raviolis and boil them... gently! like you make love... don't boil the hell out of them so they fall apart....

Then melt half a stick of butter so it starts to just brown... add two tablespoons(but no more!) or balsamic to it and make a muthafuckin sauce... cut fresh vine ripened TOMATOES into fours and throw them into the mix along with your aldente raviolis.... mix it in... add parma on top and serve! Tomatoes FTW!!!

I just made this with regular stuff I have in the house and fridge and whatnot... but I took it to another level because I got the very best fresh organic produce and incorporated it in the dish instead of skimping. It certainly makes a difference.
:)

Throw in dried portabello mushrooms(if you like them) and they'll get rehydrated from the broth....

^Lol green tea is good stuff indeed. I drink several cups each day :D
But dont count other teas out. White tea has some wonderful antioxidant, anticancer, and antiviral properties as well, sometimes more then green tea. Although EGCG is found only in green tea.

u sure ? green tea is full of tannins. tannins are really bad if u do too much of them and few cups a day, that doesnt sound good.
anyway i read about EGCG and it shows that it passes through ur system with not doing much. its all hype anyway trying to advertise it. did u notice how popular it got and every company got on the market promoting their teas ? pfft.

You gotta keep the water at the right temperature and not steep the tea for too long in order to get as many of the beneficial molecules while leaving as many of the bad ones as possible. Sure green tea has some not so healty compounds in it but most things. It's about the balance. :)
I really don't think at this point there's any debate that green tea is good for you.
A quality tea supplier helps as well. Those lipton bags are garbage, it's what they sweep up off the floor after processing real tea :\

yeh its good depending on how much u drink it. but too many false claims like green tea is this universal cure it all that has been going on for a while now keeps bothering me. the fact is, it has some benefits but not many significant proof. ive read many studies and once they say "might be good" then it will change their statement to "not significant difference"
anyway if you think it will make you really healthy if you drink several cups a day, go ahead. i really dont encourage of anything too much.

Oh of course. By no means is green tea a cure all for anything. But tea is a nice alternative to coffee and I believe it can be very healthy. Not to mention it tastes great =D
Of course the key is moderation as with anything.
