How long does it take your body to lose its immunity to large amounts of a drug. I used to get a great high on two tabs of Darvon, now it takes almost ten to get almost as good a high.

I know how ya feel...
I would wait a couple weeks or if you can, ban the drug use of that certain drug for a couple of months. Perhaps you can switch the drug of choice for the time being, ya know-that good old 'crutch' method.
The problem is, once you reach that HIGH level (10 pills of Hydro), and you stop for awhile-it will NOT take long at all to get your tolerance back up to where it was previously. I know it sucks, but you gotta face it, after prolonged use, your 'habit' will only burn a bigger hole in your pocket......

Hi,
I haven't tried to get high on that drug, but for just about every other drug I notice the same.
I figure one of the major parts also is that you can't get as excited about how the high is as you could the first time.
I remember first time I did E, I was amazed that any drug could make me feel that way. Now no matter how many pills I drop, I can't get that amazed anymore, because I know how it feels.
So in my book, "knowing" the drug, also have alot to do with tolerance.
Mmm reminds me nearly 2 months since I dropped an E .. Strange..
Have fun

Thanks for the replies to all. Seems like everyone agrees, there's no turning back the clock to the good ole days.
Tnaks for your candid comments, they mean a lot to me. Sean
