Responsible Meth Use?

What is your definition of responsible? 100s of mg for a day or two? Occasional use? 10-20mg orally for study or alertness only ?

Alot of variables here.

Personally I think it's possible to use responsibly.... medium sized doses when alertness is needed. No binge use. Proper Sleep, healthy eating. I use responsibly, sometimes binge, but no longer than 48 hours anymore..... but i also see the very devious side of meth ( the ego trip that makes you think you're somehow better, immune to amphetamine addiction ) and the real possibility to slide into dependency if not kept in check.

i really dont think it has to do with how much you use but simply how big a role it plays in your life and obviously if their are problems that its causing. if your having trouble with going to work when your supposed to be there, behind on bills, existing relationships are being neglected along with other obligations, legal trouble etc then that isnt responsilbe/functional use.

however if you are meeting all those requirements and the only difference between someone that uses and someone that doesnt use is just that fact. one person is doing the drug while the other isnt dong the drug. that, in my opinion, is functional/responsible use and what kind of drug it is makes no difference and is irrelevant.

Personally, I can't get addicted to uppers. The comedown is so unpleasant that it deters me from daily use. I think it's partially dependent on your personality and preference in drugs. I can't play around with opiates without using daily but I can smoke meth like twice a year before a long test.

Everyone starts out thinking they can control it. You should listen to that nagging fear of yours.

There are responsible drug users, but there's really no way to predict if you're one of them. Why fuck around?

Also, I'd recommend going easy on drugs while you're in school. Managing an addiction + school work would be pretty rough. I'm glad I didn't have my current habits while in school. It's much more manageable with a predictable, routine job imho.

Good luck.

I think u can use responsibly it just takes mindset and u gotta know that this drug can take everything from u. Use the drug don't let the drug use u I was homeless living in a car shooting up and still denied being addicted, after a year of sober I've been using again the past couple months and I been managing it just fine...

I gotta say I dont believe there is any responsible way to use meth. No one ever plans on turning into a junkie. I thought I was gonna use responsibly and kept lying to myself. One time turned into two turned into a few times a week, turned into all day everyday. I went hard for eight or nine months and it was just brutal. Its been a little over three months since I got clean and Im still not the same. Dont let meth trick you into thinking "its all good, Im in control". After a few uses its not like in the ads where you do it one time and boom your hooked. But after a few steady uses it does anchor itself into your life. Just quit while youre ahead.
