From this moment forward, I will consciously follow the maxims outlined below:
1. I will no longer live with fear in my heart. I will be bold and constantly challenge myself to operate outside my established "comfort zone" as it now exists.
2. I will no longer take refuge in comfort while I have issues to address. I will face them head-on rather than attempt to escape or evade them.
3. I will no longer lie to myself about my reality. Lies are only presented when there is a fear of the consequences of the truth. I will not fear truth.
4. I will no longer allow outside influences to affect the course of my life. I will take my destiny into my own hands, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, as much as is realistically possible.
5. I will no longer allow the events of the past or future possibilities to affect my present moment. "Now" is my only reality and the only thing I need to concentrate on. It will not be overshadowed by "then" or "what if".
These are poor habits I've identified by constant monitoring of my cognitive hygiene. None of the above rules seem to interfere with the others, making them all valid. If there are any errors, logical fallacies, etc, I'd appreciate you pointing them out.
