If someone who was a first time user takes ~30-40mg of pure mdma at 2 PM and then take another 60 or so mg at 2 AM - 12 hours later. And then roll on the next day at 10 PM with a 80-100mg dosage; how would this effect the last roll in terms of intensity compared to not doing the in-between 60 mg dosage.

What?

Dont do any of that. Take 100mgs of MDMA, and wait an hour. If its cut, you may want to redose another 50 or so mgs, but after that, no more!

Tolerance rises quick as hell for MDMA, it releases serotonin, a vital chemical to the way our brains function, and it controls our emotions. After your first dose, your serotonin level drops extremely rapidly, as it is all sent out towards the axons. Any more doses after that will be trying to squeeze the last little bits of serotonin, and will lead to a horrible comedown and eventual "loss of the magic"

Take one fat dose, roll one time, than wait at the least one month till you roll again. Do not roll 2 days in a row, thats extremely bad for you and you wont even get high as your damaging your brain.

What about taking a threshold dose (30 or so mg).

That means you can't do a proper role the next day?

And then not doing anything for 30-60days?

You lose magic just from that?

No, mdma doesn't work in that way.
mdma is more like a switch. It either makes the serotonin available or it doesn't.
If you take a small amount, serotonin is released, but not that much that you cross the threshold of being high.
Once you have tripped the switch you can't do it again.
Folley is absolutely right about the dosing.

And the switch is closed after 30 days?

Not exactly, the drug still works, but instead of releasing serotonin, it has to release dopamine and other chemicals that enter the SERT axons and destroy them, that causes loss of magic over time.

30 days is when your brain has recovered from the roll, and can give you and all out experience again. Anything before that will be severely diminished, and anything after will make your roll that much better

But won't 30 mg's release just a little bit of serotonin? Coupled with the 90 mg's from the next day, it would only amount to a total of 120 mg's in 2 days.

Is that FAR worse than 120 mg's at once?

Can anyone explain the scientific principle behind this fact/statement?

^ Yes its far worse. Like I said, the VERY first dose releases the most serotonin, when you redose after that it starts releasing other chemicals trying to make you roll instead, this leads to a tweaky high that does much more damage to the brain. Even if the first dose is only 30 (which would do nothing), any doses after that wont release anywhere near the amount of serotonin that they could be.

Why would you take 30mgs first? Thats just a waste and will make the real roll more neurotoxic and do less, effects wise. Just take a 100mg starter dose, if its pure (which it probably isnt) that will be a perfect dose. If its not pure, than you can take more from there, being sure not to redose more than 2 hours after your first one, and not to redose more than twice. Its the only way to make sure all your rolls are like your first, MDMA is absolutely not a drug you can do 2 days in a row. No matter what the dose

I recommend to all First timers and New users to mdma, provided their mdma is tested and shows good results to dose 100mg. No more , No Less

Why would you take 30mgs first?

I did it to test the molly. Definitely not cut. I just wanted to dance and talk to everybody (at school, in the bus, subway, home lol) for 6 hours. Was also pretty hot too. Hell, I'm not even sure it was 30 mg's to be honest. Might have been 20... or 40. I just eyeballed a small bump.

Today I'm going to a trance/dubstep concert and I wanna have a proper roll.... WTF. No one told me about this shit before. I had always thought there were plenty of people rolling 2 days every single weekend for a long time.

I just thought if I did this just once, and then take it once every 60-70 WHATEVER days, that it wouldn't really damage my brain so much.

There's no chance for me to safely roll tonight?:(

I've rolled 3 days in a row before at a festival. I felt weird for a week after, it came in waves. I was able to live life, function at probably around 60% at work, and then a week later I felt almost baseline again.

Basically, if you do that every once in awhile you'll probably be fine. From my experience, occasional disruptions and odd feelings crept in for that week. Everything was fine tho.

Didn't wanna kill myself, wasnt hellllllla depressed, still found fun shit to occupy my time, had an awesome experience at the festival, etc.

Try to limit your experience to once a month at most, majority of the time. Your serotonin system will recover. There is not any sort of scientific EVIDENCE proven and accepted that says MDMA will fuck you up beyond repair.

Most recent studies find that even those who abuse MDMA show normal cognitive function after abstaining from use for a set period of time. In fact, They are actually comparable to non MDMA users.

Pretty sure Shulgin had a dosing regimen that was x mg/kilo of body weight, as well as suggesting a booster dose of 50% at 45min to one hour into the experience.

First timers, sure, if they have even 80mg of good MDMA or a clean roll like a mint, they're probably gonna roll balls.

The first time is pretty awesome though. Might as well do 120-140mg and get the full experience. Nothing will be like someone's first time because they have NO idea what it actually feels like. So not only are they taking a drug with 0 tolerance for it, they're experiencing something brand new to their system. The first time u do anything it's the best

Law of diminishing returns my dude

I've decided to wait til' this upcoming weekend to roll.

I was going to do 100 mg's, but I might bump it up to 125 after what you guys said :)

Well my first time was exactly 150 mg 70/30 MDA/MDMA, and that was perfect I think. Back in the day it was more much more per roll, they were all saying these pills weren't anything like the 90's where it'd be like much higher and everyone would be cuddlin on the floor... I think the 150 mg range is good for a first

DON"T do that idea you had :)
