take a seat my love
its all on its way.
would you like a drop?
moisten those dry lips while you wait

i swear it wont be long.

knife in your left hand
slice the meat away
take your time now dear,
this is too good to waste.

how
did it ever come to this?

hush for a minute now
listen to the rain
dont you like how the candle flickers
in the breeze from the cracked pane.

its time to leave for home
maybe we'll meet again soon

i hope you dont forget me

OOOoooOOOOoo

You know this really does paint quite the picture. Even the way you have your stanzas positioned gives the feeling of some unseen presence giving little suggestions like they are anxiously waiting to see the product of there interloping. Slick babes real slick. I even like the use of the words "meat and meet".... It was creepy how the second "meet" made me think of how the first "meat" was so on point in terms of mental imagery!!!! I like.
