Relatively New to Benzos

So, I think that I may either just have a naturally high tolerance to benzos, or I got some weak Valium and Xannies. I have had both bars and footballs, and Valium 10s, and I have never had the whole "benzo experience" as I have had it described.

I mean, shit, I popped 6 Valium 10s my first time ever doing them, and then I drank two mixed drinks throughout the night (while constantly smoking weed, as always). Oh, and I took a bar as well.

Now, here's the thing, my memory of the night is definitely more than a little fuzzy (as is expected), but I was never afflicted with slurred speech and my inhibitions and fine motor control were generally intact.

Don't get me wrong, I love what benzos do for me--I believe that I may have a mild to moderate case of generalized anxiety disorder, punctuated by the occasional severe panic attack--they make me forget what anxiety ever was. My question is, why can I take such high doses, mix with multiple other drugs, and still have most of my motor coordination intact, and not even have the slightest slur in my speech?

They hit everyone differently. How do you know your speech is fine? Have you heard a recording? Or are you going by the word of drunken friends?

Anyway 60 mg of diazepam is a waste if you have an apparently low tolerance. You may get more out of them if you only take 20 mg. I like benzos the most at the end of the day when i can wind down for about 2 hours feeling relaxed, then hit the hay.

Benzos are nothing special unless you need them. Like if i took 10 mg of valium now it would do barely anything, if i took 10mg on a truly awful alcohol hangover that 10mg would feel fantastic.

dude, benzodiazapines are a real wierd class of drug. Once you reach a sweet spot, increasing your dosage will only lead to amnesia and-at high doses-extreme motor impairment. Stick to around 50 mg of valium in a 2 day period, or 2 mg of xanex in a five hour period. Doses higher than that will result in a buildup in tolerance, you making a com mplete ass out of yourself, and the most paranoid, fucked up hangove you can ever imagine. If you have a steady source, never buy too much xanex at once. The amnesia thing makes it to where you take your second xanex bar like four times and you cant even remember how awsome it felt.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I don't plan on using benzos recreationally in high doses much (if ever), but rather for "self-medication" of my anxiety disorder in small doses. I was just curious about why I didn't seem as fucked up as I expected on such a high dose of benzos, especially when mixed with alcohol--granted it was a rather small amount.

booze and benzos can be deadly, lost a day 1/2 once total blackout did some crazy shit im told never rememberd to this day

what exactly is your dose. did you do research on the pills to make sure they were what they said they were?

The effect of benzos can be pretty subtle. Since I don't have anxiety and depression problems anymore I find benzos to be pretty boring. I think the main reason I used to like them was because I didn't have to put up with the anxiety when I was on them.

i find that high doses don't enhance the good effects much more than a moderate or even a low dose. they just seem to make you more forgetful, and alot more sloppy. to ben honest, I think low doses of benzos are better. they let you chill a bit but be mostly functional. i'd use them for what they were designed, to get rid of anxiety. Take it from me too, don't do them all the time, a benzo habit is something you don't want.

I don't have anything constructive to say, I just like that OP included STS9 in his username
