Hi everyone. I have been tapering my roxy usage for 12 days, and it has been extremely difficult. I am trying to cut my dosage by about 10% each week. I fought through the first week, but this second one has been a bit rough. This is my fourth time trying to go sober, or at least get to a sustainable level. Right now, I feel the same way I did the last few tapers, just days before relapsing. What have you guys done to fight through that point? I am not looking for drug substitutes, just more general life things and coping strategies.

I would definitely get a Naltraxone implant. I'm an ex intravenaous heroin & cocaine addict; once I finished the withdrawals, I got an implant. It guaranteed that I didn't relapse even if I decided to use.

I might just take up refuge in here to keep on the straight & narrow. Smoked way too much meth/amphet for my own good and want to preserve my brainmeats. just need that little bit of extra motivation. I'm going to Narcanon if I can find one local to me.
