SO, i just got back from Glastonbury and this is the round up of the MDMA situation there.
After not being able to get hold of any real pills or Mandy in the run up to Glastonbury, i thought to myself "If there is anywhere I'm gonna find it, its gonna be glastonbury"
So on the second night i went to the usual spots and started asking around. It was NOT difficult at all to find people.
First dealers i spoke to:
"Yeah i got pills"
"What stamp is it?"
"Superman"
"thanks, but no thanks"
This sort of conversation went on with many people. I got offered and declined the following:
Supermen
Hammers and spanners
Rolex's
Blue Lightening Bolts
Smurfs
Stars
I then came across a guy selling "love hearts". i inspected and it looked legit so i brought one to test. As he took my money, he dropped a bunch of pills on the floor and said "just keep em' i can't be bothered to look for them". I picked up about 5 pills, took them all away and tested. NO reaction to the love heart, looked at the other pills, they had a D & G logo and one with what looked like an outline of a kangaroo. No reaction to all.
This was the point where i thought, fuck it I'm gonna give up. As i was walking away another guy asked me if i wanted to buy MDMA. I said "can i have a look?". As he was getting it out i asked him if it was "crystal or powder?". He said its powder and i told him not to bother. He was then pretty honest and said he hadn't seen any crystal MDMA in months and mentioned the theory about the chemists not being able to get hold of the precursors. I then tried to educate him about piperazines, but he didn't give a fuck really, he seemed offended even. He was there to make a fuck load of money and not question what he was selling.
One of my friends that i went with brought some rolexes with her, completely contrary to the advice i gave her. I specifically said "DO NOT EAT THEM". She couldn't resist and the next time i saw her she was throwing up constantly and crying!
The only real MDMA pills i saw at the festival were the smilies and they came from manchester and the girl, quite rightly, was not prepared to share. I don't blame her.
