Have you reached the stage where you can't even be arsed explaining things to them? I crossed that line a long time ago. I don't think they're bad people or stupid people for not knowing, they simply just don't know. I do think they're stupid people for not believing me when I try to educate them.
My latest out burst occured at a party last week. Some guy who I hadn't seen in ages comes up to me. Now I know he's a big bullshitter, always has been but this tipped the boat.
He was saying how he had 33 cannabis plants growing in his attic. I asked him what type of lights he's using and he says he's using halogen. I tell him he must have fuck loads of halogens if he hopes to be able to grow with them. He tells me ''naw man, I'm just taking it easy, nice and laid back, chilled..I have 5 of them on the plants''. He tells me he's growing using hydroponics so I asked him to explain what hydroponics are exactly. Apparently it was hard to explain, I would need to see his set up 8)
He's such a bullshitter and an arsehole. He will tell people stories then pretend he was there when it happened. He even tries doing it with MY stories.
Anyway - then comes the next part of the conversation.
Him: ''Have you tried the aul cactus yet?'
Me : ''Nah I haven't tried mescaline but I would if I didn't have to eat the fucking cactus''
Him: ''Naw man, I'm not talkin about mescaline, I'm talking about that peruvian pedro shit they sell in the headshops''
Me: ''San Pedro? Peruvian Torch? Yeah, those cacti contain mescaline.
Him: ''No way man, the drug is called cactus, not mescaline. You can't get things as powerful as mescaline from nature you dumbass, man you smoke too much weed''
I just walked away at that point..filled with rage..partly at the conversation, partly at the fact his girlfriend is really beautiful and dead on whilst he's a walking empty barrel.
