My mates think £15 for a tester kit is a waste of cash!!!

I keep telling them it could save them doing themselves some serious damage but they're not interested. If they've bought pills they want to take them no matter what.

On pillreports at the moment every sign points to these cherries they have NOT being MDMA and being something else that really shouldn't be in E. But because no one on there has the sense to label the pills as adulterated my mates seem to assume that there ok, they just skim over the parts they don't want to hear, like people not being able to sleep afterwards, mad hallucinations, weird feelings and awful comedowns and decide that they're ok to take because no ones died.
 
There's not a lot you can do in those situations but offer advice. Even though they don't want to hear it. Sometimes it has to come to the point where something dreadful happens for people to wise up about their habits. Unfortunately that's just the way it is.
 
I'm not planning on taking any pills but I've offered to chip in for a tester kit. I mean 3 of us stick in a fiver each and we've got something VERY useful which could save a lot of hassle.

But they'll take these pills regardless and maybe they'll be ok or maybe they'll find out the hardway, we'll soon see.
 
Just decided my break is end tonight all this talk of pills and what-not.

two month is plenty enough for this chap , im in need of some substance assisted fun :)

If they refuse to chip in, by one yourself. Think about it. What's 15 quid if you're saving lives. You could then offer to test your mates pills for them. Then once they see exactly what kind of shit is in them, maybe they'll see sense. It's worth a go at least.
 
Anyone know if the love hearts in dublin at the mo are any good? Me mate's testing kit is in Austria:-/.
 
My mate took one of the domed cherries last night, I saw him at about 3pm this afternoon and he still hadn't been to sleep. Think it serves him right like!

I didn't get a chance to have a proper chat with him so not sure whether he enjoyed himself or what the effects were but he looked worse for wear earlier, I think he's in bed now.
 
Well the serious studies that have been done into pill testing that I've read have basically show that is not much more effective than trying to base it on taste or smell of the pill. That is, virtually ineffective.

Let's say you have a pill which is 90% PMA, 10% MDMA as active substances. If you test that with just marquis, it's most likely going to go straight to black (the MDMA will react with the marquis, the PMA won't). You are going to think it's a 'safe' pill and you might even neck more of them than usual because you've tested them and think they are safe, no need to be cautious and do half or one first and see how it goes.

If you were talking about a sound method that is virtually infallible like gas chromatography mass spec, then I'd completely agree with you.

Pill testing is great for harm reduciton agencies that want to fund their other activities. Where else are people so happy to pay £15 for something that probably costs 5p to make (formaldehyde and sulphuric acid cost pennies per litre on an industrial scale). Apart from the obvious one of controlled substances ;)
 
I've had those cherries. Brilliant pills. Tasted of MDMA, and I'm sure that they were. Everyone loved them.
 
I'd rather test than not test. Least it gives an indicator of what's in the pills even if it's not perfect.

Treacle: Were you able to sleep after the Cherries as my mate still hasn't been able to and is planning on take more tonight stupidly.
 
Yeah. I was fine. I just chose not to (festival). Everyone else could sleep, as well. I think there is more than one lot around.
 
Aye there seems to be several batches. I know there's definitely domed ones and flat ones.
 
Well my mates swallowed 2 of these and snorted one between them in the space of a couple hours tonight. Seemed to be enjoying themselves, says they were buzzing pretty hard but with them being relatively newbies to the pill game it's hard to say if these pills were good or had any mdma in them. Didn't seem to have massive jaws on them like usual tho you could tell they were definitely fucked on something. Most of the reports on pillreports seemed to report that it was only after a few hours / pills that people noticed the speedy / trippy effects, I've a feeling while they're out they'll start to trip. I hope for there sake there only MDMA but it doesnt seem likely seeing as my mate wasn't able to sleep at all last night or today after just one.

They take pills like there going out of fashion tho, when I first started I wouldn't even think about taking anymore than 1 or 2. They'll take one and before it's even kicked in they'll be taking another and as soon as that's kicked another will be getting produced. They don't seem to be able to pace themselves. :\

EDIT: Mates ended up taking all 15 of these pills last night, no trippyness or hallucinations as mentioned on Pillreports but they must be full of speed as one mate hasn't slept at all this weekend, I gave him an Ativian this morning at around 7am but it didn't help. Curiously my other mate says he slept fine.

From what I can gather from observing my mates these pills seem to be MDxx and Speed. Definitely MDxx in them as all my mate had the classic signs, he sat for ages with his eyes shut, monged out, licking his lips and occassionly opening his eyes and coming out with loads of shit like "Wheres the crackers and eggs" and "I dont have a size 8 boiler suit".

anyone had the type-R's that are going around the south east? white, well made.. I have some but don't have a testing kit..
 
My mates experienced no comedown from these Cherries even after 7 each and little sleep this weekend. Strange considering how fucked they looked / were.
 
Some good stuff. Have taken in the evening a couple of times and managed to fall asleep afterwards and get up for work the next day at 7am with pretty much no comedown at all. Suits me.

Just spoke to one of my guys and he said he could get bombs...anyone heard of them or tried them? Just did a quick look on pillreports and it doesnt look good for them so might ask around a bit! any info would help though
