But he did a test 'some weeks back', in which case I would've thought he could at least provide details.

Look, this isn't a witch-hunt. Look back through the thread and you'll see that I and others were genuinely interested in this 'home testing kit', because until now we've never known of the existence of such a thing, and if it does exist then the harm reduction potential is massive.

Unfortunately Blondin got not only defensive but downright abusive when asked to provide further information, so I'm not holding my breath for any pictures.

Shame.

you are right I did not see that it would be a fantastic help to all heroin users to stay safe

On topic:

Got some decent stuff yesterday which came from the Nitshill area of Glasgow. I'd rate it 6/10. But I'm on the internet and have no pics so I can't prove it really happened.
 
Why bother getting a test kit unless you plan on buying mass amounts? All you need to do to judge quality is run one line on the foil, in fact if anyone wants gear tested dont bother buying a test kit just send samples my way :-D
 
I was tested at the clinic yesterday and i have used nothing but the gear from round here and a few swigs of meth-for the test
it showed positive for benzos and gear
as i haven't taken any benzos in over a week that means the gear is cut with benzos
no surprise there but it's officially confirmed

but at least there IS some real gear in it

As its pay day today I thought I would take my now once a week sortie down to the wildside to see if gear improved at all.
As I expected its still the same old shite that wouldn't give a budgie a buzz let alone give me a gouch.
So I reckon with us being in the age of equality that if the Mr Bigs of the world can't sort out the gear situation for the WHOLE country then maybe it's about time that the Mrs Big gave things a go. I'm all for womens lib,especially if it means I can have some decent gear.

THe final comment on this pathetic rant from sam - yes i bought them 2 years ago , a pack of 5 I explained how they worked in another post i.e sorta like a glowstick with mini testtubes where you put in a min of 1/4-1/3 g in snap the tube and chemicals mix with the gear (the coke testers are exactly the same) it then goes different shades of blue/green. I used the last one I had a few weeks ago as i found it in a draw and thought it would be a good time to test. Like I said I dont care whether anybody believes me or not why should I, you're all folk I will never meet and i dont need to talk bollocks to gain a rep.
And people wonder why posting has dropped by 90% over the last few weeks because of things like having a major discussion on something I may or may not have done - why does it matter either way?
sam infracted me as he got a a bit tired and emotional over it - sad state of affairs but then that's what mod groups are like.

Listen, Im not taking sides. It is not outside the realms of possibility for such a test kit to exist.

This kind of off-topic petty arguing is bringing the overall quality of the thread and the rest of the forum down.

Like I said im not taking sides but tbh, Samhain since you are a mod I am a little suprised that you havent taken the moral highground and let things go.
If you and blondin cannot get along then please for the rest of us can you please just ignore each other.

Which is exactly what I suggested to Blondin, who sadly insisted on continuing to be abusive both publicly and by PM.

Look back: all I (and others) asked is that he provided details of this 'home testing kit', simply for the purposes of HR. I mean, think about it - how many lives could potentially be saved if such a device existed? He consistently failed to do so, beyond a vague account of a magic glowstick.

This thread is about heroin availability / purity. Surely if somebody claims to have access to home testing kits then it's a matter of interest for the whole forum, not to mention heroin users everywhere? So 'off topic' it ain't.

Sadly Blondin has a personal problem with me (and the other mods on this site), and for whatever reason seems to regard such honest questioning as an accusation of lying on his part.

Now Tryptamite; I appreciate your desire to act as peacemaker, but in doing so you're actually perpetuating the thing.

Back to smack, then. Puh-leeeeaze. :\

Seconded, esp the penultimate sentence. I see no reason to disbelieve Blondin bought something from an Amsterdam head shop, just curious whether it was as described and of use, that's all. No worries. Sure everyone would like to get back to the good smack real soon. Most likely off-threaders are doing just that right now.

Got a pm not so long back from another site. Guy wanted my address so he could "send you some wheel filters." Wheel filters would be swell party favours but I've no immediate personal use for them and I did wonder. Luckily I live in the middle of nowhere but did take the precaution of building another watchtower and hiring another chipper for the machine gun nests.

In the end I gave a chum's address. He's a burly bastard who once took a baseball bat to a chancer he caught trying to lift his lawnmower over his fence. But much to his disappointment nobody's tried to break in. No wheel filters either. Take what you gather. The guy did pm again to say he was having supply problems so it's probably on the level. But could have been to lull me into a sense of false security. Good job the coca tea keeps me vigilant.

There's a well known story of when somebody tried to mug George Melly at knifepoint in Soho. Melly recited at length from some Greek poem and by the fourth stanza the mugger figured he was out of his depth and legged it. Scrawny little American I know tried the same tactic when confronted by an alley caveman and his club. Didn't know any Greek and the best he could come up with was 'Walk on the Wide Side'. Got to the third line before his assailant bopped him over the head. Bitched to the A&E docs he was going to sue Melly.

Must be the way you tell 'em.
 
Hi guys first post in these threads, not really been that bothered by the drought as on a Subutex script and only use aybe 2 - 3 times a month after no subs for a couple of days. Every time i have tried has been crap, slightly light headed but no nod or not itching which for me is always the sign of real H, then on wednesday i bought a bag which was £15 and the smallest bag you ever did see lol, funny thing is i actually felt pretty good on such a small amount and sure it's the best that i have had in months, went back to the same place today to buy 4 bags so i could have maybe 2 now and save 2 for another time. When i got home it was not the same but the old shit, prolly just a tiny amount of H in if any. Real pissed as was assured it was the same as on wednesday, it's deff not though as it's darker in colour like most the real crap around here where as "the good stuff" was much lighter in colour. Im now sure certain people have it there just either sitting on it or smoking it themselves and selling the shit :(

Aw BoomBoxer sorry to hear that, that really sucks!! A lot of dealers cut their stuff to crap if think their gear is too good, they are so bloody greedy!!! I'd would rather pay more for the gear & get the good quality then pay less & get crap!!! This drought is really dragging on at this stage!! So SOooooo.... sick of it!!!!!! Things have to get better soon, don't they? 8(
